Hillcrest Farm

We pre-​paid Rhonda 4 months early for a birthday party in June for our 7 year old child and she kept the money then never provided the party. She moved her ranch from sunol to Livermore. I have contacted her serveral times trying to get a refund. She even went as far as to say that her accountant was cutting us a check — that was 3 weeks ago and it never came. RHONDA — if you read this please call us I have left you several messages trying to resolve this issue.

My daughter just had her lesson, and she loved it! We’ve already signed her up for lessons and their rates are very reasonable. Overall great experience.

We just finished our first «Fun on the Farm» session at Hillcrest Farm through Fremont Parks and Rec. and I have to admit I got a little teary at the graduation ceremony. We so enjoyed every minute with the Fabulous Fiona, our Scottish firebrand instructor. She could not have been more enthusiastic, yet gentle and kind and encouraging. This is a woman who knows horses so well, and loves them so much, that she can command them, unbridled, silently, just by slight moves of her lithe body. Our lil’ 3-​year-​old cowboy loved the grooming lessons but was adamant about not getting on the gentle horse. Fiona tried all kinds of creative solutions to help him overcome his reticence. She even got Dad up on a horse! Hillcrest Farm is a gorgeous place and the horses were all beautiful and healthy and well trained. There is no question that these people know and love horses. Everything about the class was well organized and well planned. I am so grateful that they opened up their amazing facility to the littlest cowboys. Props to the City of Fremont and props to Hillcrest Farms. I recommend it to all horse lovers with no reservations.

My son and three other boys took the horseback riding lesson at Hillcrest Farm to meet the belt loop and sport pin requirement for Cub Scout. The boys learned a lot about horses and had a really great time. Rhonda, Kim and Kelly are very knowledgeable instructors. Money worth to spend at Hillcrest Farm for adults and kids to learn about horseback riding and have a lifetime experience. Thank you ladies for being so nice and patient to all of us.
