Great service(Chris) and a great selection of paint and paint supplies. Kelly Moore paint is far superior to lowes or Home Depot paint, I have used both and in the first few years there is no noticeable difference but after about five years of rain and sun the kelly Moore brand still looks good and the Home Depot and Lowes brands really show their age.

Been going there for years, no issues at all, had a color match problem about a year back and the team there did a great job(took their time with me). Absolutely no issues. Wish they were open sundays, but that’s business.

Went to this location for my dad, who is a general contractor, to match some indoor paint and see what the color was. I was approached by the assistant manager Ryan, who is super friendly, welcoming, and quick. He was able to look up my account, find the matching color, and get it settled in less than 10 minutes. It was nice to see someone friendly after a pretty rough morning. Thank you for smiling and making me feel at ease! Will come back for any future paint needs.

I visited Kelly-Moore because I was working on painting a bedroom. I had gone through nearly two gallons of paint of another brand, and I needed more as I could still see the lavender/purple original color under the new white color that I wanted. So basically, I was clueless. Our sales clerk helped me find the right shade of white, helped me find the right paint roller, and even carried my paint buckets out to my car for me. I wish I remembered his name because he was very helpful and non-judgmental toward my lack of experience! And, the paint looks great. Thanks, Kelly-Moore :-)

They took plenty of time to get an exact match for a difficult paint sample. I had already been to Kelly Moore in Pleasanton and Dublin. Livermore was the only store willing to help, and I am very pleased with the paint that they mixed.

Absolutely the best experience I’ve had trying to buy something I know nothing about! The staff was so helpful and was able to answer all of my questions. I wasn’t sure what color I wanted for my living room wall and two of the staff members helped me pick a color and now I can’t wait to paint. Not only did they help me pick the right color, they helped me get the right rollers, and then they helped me carry the paint to my car.

Useless. Feeling annoyed that an order was called in. And yet my items weren’t at the front counter when I arrived nor did any of the 4 workers even recall getting the phone call. They were dead on a Saturday morning so it’s not like the 4 workers were understaffed. And after all that they didn’t even have 2 of the 3 items I called in about!!! I Went to another nearby local chain paint store and received ecellent service. I won’t be back.

Just finished painting several rooms in the house. The staff at Kelly Moore was more than patient and helpful with my color selection. However, the process was not straightforward, so I want to share some lessons learned. First, if you are using a fan deck from a few years ago, just throw it away. Kelly Moore recently changed its fan deck and its mixing formulas. Most old chips are not reflecting its final colors. Save yourself some grief and use the new fan deck and chips in the store. Second, if you have AAA, you get a nice discount similar to a contractor’s bargain. If not, some local employers also get a nice discount. It really helps when you are doing the job yourself.

I actually have some experience in the paint world so when I need paint I know what I need and I do my best not waste anyone’s time but even with that said every time I visit this KM the customer service is always terrible. It also seems as though some of the guys that work there provide better service to the local painting contractors. If your a regular homeowner just looking to paint the interior of your home don’t go here. Go to lowes which is right down the street. The quality of paint is decent and also cheaper.

I have had a very different experience than the last few posters — having one of the most pleasant retail shopping experiences ever yesterday at Kelly Moore. I was just stopping in to look at paint colors for a bedroom, and having worked at a paint store in college, I felt that I didn’t really need help when a young man offered assistance the moment I walked into the store. He came out from behind the counter and showed me some brochures that had pull out paint color samples that you can stick to your walls at home, and let me know that a pint of tester flat paint would only be $ 5. Super helpful after all, and I was able to find the color I wanted based on a sample in one of the brochures. Paint was promptly mixed up for me and the young guy(did not catch his name) helped me out to my car. I’ll be back with any future painting needs!

If there is another Kelly-Moore that is not completely out of your way, I would recommend going there. The customer service here is not good. Last week I was moving from one apartment to another. I had to repaint my old apartment back to white, and I repainted my new apartment. That is a lot of paint from Kelly-Moore(which is not cheap). Everything went ok last week, but this past Sunday I ran out of white and had to urgently get a new gallon to be moved out by the end of the month. It happened to be close to 4, which is when they close. I immediately called Kelly-Moore in a panic at 3:54 and asked them to have a can prepared for me to pick up in 5 minutes. The sales rep was rude and said«I would hurry… You have 5 minutes.» I arrived at Kelly-Moore at exactly 4:02, which I thought was pretty damn fast. When I arrived(even though I had called and said I was on my way), the doors were locked, the closed sign was on, and the lights were off. I knocked on the door politely for a while and tried calling the store. The phone rang with no voice mail or employee ever picking up. I know there were still employees on premise as the back lights were on. Not to mention, theres no way they could lock up in 2 minutes. Needless to say this cost me one whole extra day in my apartment, which was not cheap. When I picked up the gallon of paint the next Monday, I explained my situation to the man who was helping me. He never said sorry or offered me a discount, instead he said, «Man… That’s never fun.» WOW. I can not believe the horrible service at this location and will not be giving my business to a store that cannot be inconvenienced enough to wait 2 minutes for a loyal customer to pick up an emergency gallon of white paint. I will be driving out of my way to the Dublin location next time.
