If you’re looking for a smaller intimate wedding venue, and you want an amazing coordinator that goes out her way to help you plus a gorgeous special setting for making it official with the one you love go to Las Positas in Livermore and work with Debbie. Whether indoors or outdoors the wedding venue is beautiful and the view from the Southern side is the perfect backdrop for saying, «I do.» Debbie is the wedding coordinator there and I can honestly say our wedding would not have been half as good without her help and support. She was always there for us and she worked tirelessly to give my wife and I the best wedding possible. We are incredibly grateful for her help and could not have asked for anyone better. Other perks of Las Positas include great wine, friendly staff, an all inclusive price that doesn’t try to nickle and dime you for every fork and napkin and an exclusive partnership with an amazing catering company(On The Vine Catering) that I’ve already given another five star review to if you want more info. All in all, Las Positas is a special little place that makes for a truly great experience and I couldn’t be happier that my wife and I found it.

We came here for a wine tasting tour on segaways and this was our first stop. When my husband and I arrived we parked in the same manner as the car next to us. When we walked up there was actually a wedding going on and they told us they were not supposed to do any tasting todays but allowed us to taste since it was their own fault for double booking. We appreciated it. They poured us wine and left to go plan for this wedding only coming to fill our glasses. We left and did our thing touring two other wineries and coming back as the ceremony was in session. So we literally had to duck down and queitly walk by as to not distrub the ceremony. When we came back to our car we were blocked in, so my husband and I patiently waited for the ceremony to finish and cocktail hour to begin to ask for assistance. I walked in and let them know our situation and the man working there ask me if «I was the one who parked ASSBACKWARD». I was shocked that someone at a winery can be this RUDE to me especially in front of wedding guests. Another genetlemen who worked there ended up helping us and apologized for what his coworker said.

My husband and I just had our wedding here and it was absolutely fantastic! Debbie was an amazing coordinator and was VERY helpful whenever we had questions. We were able to drop everything off the night before at our rehearsal and name plates, guest book, vendors, beer, decorations ect was all set up and ready to go. We were even able to pick everything back up the next morning. We had about 115 guest and it was a perfect size. I would highly recommend this gorgeous venue for a wedding.

Went in for wine tasting with a group of friends. This is my second time coming here. First time was in 2014 and felt like the selection of wines were better. This time around the Pinot Gris and the Syrah were blah had a pungent taste to it! The Rose was ok. The only wine that had some texture and flavor to it was the Tempranillo. The place itself is beautiful and well maintained. Hopefully get a better range next season!

We’ve stopped here several times during the Harvest Festival. This was our first time coming to the tasting room on a regular day. We tasted and then enjoyed a picnic on the patio. We had the patio to ourself and it was a lovely day for a picnic. The Muscat Caneli is a favorite as was the Pinot Gris, Rose and Cab. Tasting fee is reasonable(starts at $ 10, and $ 5 can be applied toward a purchase). We also had a Unilocal deal and were able to stock up on Muscat and get a bottle to enjoy with our picnic.

Nice winery, and really enjoy their wines. Their back patio is very nice and restful; a perfect place to relax and visit with friends while enjoying their wonderful wines. I recently joined their wine club and the first release was last weekend. It was a private event with a wine flight and cheese and olive pairings. It was lovely!

We held our Wedding Ceremony & Reception here 8÷9÷14. LPV is a beautiful location to hold a wedding. Debbie was our COMPLIMENTARY day-of wedding coordinator. We had to set everything up from a-far as my wife and I live in Austin, Texas. Pros: –Price included event space, chairs, tables, clean-up, etc(not always the case) –experienced advice and guidance from Debbie(who’s done many wedding events) –great space, indoor + outdoor –great options for additional space –storage of small decoration, flowers, etc day before –storage of cake day-of in cool climate –GREATWINE –photos in front of large wine barrels and in cellar possible –photos on site all around are great(vineyards and a beautiful huge valley oak) –working with recommended vendors added to a smoother day as everyone knew what to do Cons: –must by their wine(which is no 2 buck chuck in price, taste, or hangover!) –no hard alcohol option(for those that care)
