We love music class with teacher Anna! She is so good with the children and gets them really involved in the music and dancing. My 18 month old son loves it – it’s a nice mix of structure and no structure (he can sit in the circle, run around, jump on the small stage, etc.. it’s all ok)! Thanks for a great class for kids and adults :)

We loved our class with Anna at the Music Time Academy. We participated in a parent/​child music class for babies/​toddlers and had an amazing time. The little ones really enjoyed all of the instruments and songs, and loved to just be free to explore the music/​creativity. One of the songs has even become a staple in our house to signal quiet time/​help calm the kiddos. We would have loved to take many more music classes here but unfortunately we moved to another area shortly after our class ended.

I’m updating my review based on the very professional response I received from the owner. That level of responsiveness is a good indicator of a commitment to customers. Doesn’t dilute my previous experiences, but makes me think they may be worth another try should the need come up at some point in the future.

My daughter (age 12) really enjoyed her voice lessons with Tim. Her singing has definitely improved over the last 5 months and she is ready for her audition next month. I was very impressed that Tim was so flexible and willing to work with her on specific songs. He made the lessons fun, and she learned a lot too. Tim and many of the other teachers are in bands or otherwise involved in the music business, so they have real, current experience to share. Anna is the office manager (and an instructor) and is very responsive and accommodating. Their prices are very reasonable. Overall a great experience!

My whole family takes lessons here with Tim and thoroughly enjoy every bit of it (wife and daughter take singing lessons together and my other daughter and I are learning to play the guitar together). Call Anna and she’ll take care of you.

Music Time was wonderful for my 6 year old. In a short time she developed a real love for piano. Her ear for melody developed and she quickly learned to sign on key, as well as play piano. I highly recommend it.

We currently have 2 of our kids (11 & 15) enrolled in guitar lessons both of whom started from scratch, and have to say that we are very satisfied with the progress that they are making. Also, flexible in schedulng if you need to reschedule lessons.

I currently have my two boys enrolled in a music program at another school, (read my reviews) and I thought that I would start looking at another music program when my kids outgrow the one they are in now.
Anyway, I ran into this business on Unilocal,and have exchanged several emails with the owner/​music director (Not sure if that is her even her title) and it’s becoming increasingly apparent that they are running a customer centered business. She follows up on questions very promptly, and is polite and informative in every email. That kind of service is not easy to come by these days.
Obviously, a music school should be graded on the effectiveness of it’s music program, and I have yet to experience that. However, I can say that these guys know how to treat customers, and seem to know their music, so I can be pretty confident that my kids will do just fine in their program. Five stars.

We originally started out at Music Time with piano lessons for my son. He learned a lot from Dominic (excellent teacher) and can play pretty well, but my son also plays trumpet and really wanted to hone his skills on that instrument instead. He now trains with Mario at Music Time and his playing has really improved. Mario has taught my son many techniques that have actually made it easier for him to play. Mario shows excitement while teaching and makes each lesson fun, but very informitave. My son likes that he is «laid back, cool, and an awesome trumpet player». He likes it when Mario shows off at the end of a lesson.
We have not had any experience with the other instructors at Music Time, but I’m guessing that they are top notch as well. I don’t get the impression that they would hire any «schmo» off the street to teach music.
