Nature Days Child Care

I’ve known Heather, the owner of Nature Days, since early 2011. I continue to be impressed by her kindhearted dedication to the nitty gritty details of raising confident, compassionate and aware children. It is very clear that she not only is educated and experienced in her work with young children — she has really thought out, planned and consistently follows her early childhood development and education philosophy.
Speaking as someone with a great deal of early childhood education and experience myself, I am so pleased to have found such a great home-​away-​from-​home for our 2 yr old daughter. I just love that her play-​based, emergent curriculum is centered around experiences in nature! There is a ton of really strong research that emphasizes the significant value of this approach! Children this age learn so much more hands-​on experientially and Heather really has got the right idea and the long-​term confidence and success of all children at heart.
Heather is very perceptive and easy to talk with. Her parent communication is open, clear, friendly and professional. She is completely reliable and responsible. With the children she is soooo calm, clear, consistent and kind! She can handle high activity children and is super creative with behavior modification and mindful of safety!
Obviously I could go on for awhile. The main point is that every time I leave my daughter with Heather I am 100% confident that she will be safe, happy, have a blast and be provided with enriching activities and consistent boundaries that closely match my parenting plans and philosophy.
I just don’t think it’s possible to find a better day care anywhere in the area!
