We had 6 Pella Designer Series windows and a sliding glass door installed in 1995. Recently, we discovered with some horror that several of the metal inserts securing the dual glazed panels fell out because the glue failed. Pella sent tech Mike Barbic to diagnose the problem and estimate any repair cost. Because our warranty had expired long ago, Mike suggested we appeal to Pella’s interest in customer service to reduce thist cost. He even took photos to help our Hail Mary. Thanks to Mike’s help and Pella service coordinator Heather Legan, we received a 15% discount. We were happy. After paying the discounted cost following our repair, Mike called to say that he had completed the work more quickly than estimated, and we would be receiving a $ 105.00 refund. We became even happier. Mike and Heather have shown that even in difficult economic times, some people and companies continue to honor customer service and integrity.
