Brian was fantastic. I got to R&M on a Friday at quarter to four with a burned up 2 hp spa pump assembly. After a quick look at the assembly, he offered to rebuild it with new seals and a new motor… and to have it ready the next morning… a Saturday! Great service and very knowledgable too. Thanks for the help!

Very good service. Brian was able to find the problem with my hot tub motor. I was about to buy a whole new motor, but that wasn’t the problem. He gave me a lower cost repair of external parts. This is a much better alternative than buying a whole new motor.

Yesterday I had the great good fortune to me Brian, the 2nd-generation owner of R&M Electric in Livermore. What an extemely pleasant surprise experience! I had a 1939GE electric motor that showed every indication that I had ruined it by burning the windings. I know nothing of motors so Brian could have VERY easily taken advantage of me, told me my motor was fried, and hard-sold me on a new motor. He did not. What did he do? 1) He came into the shop on the day before 4th of July when they are normally closed. 2) He tried numerous approaches to repair my old and unusual motor. 3) He found and repaired the problem. 4) READTHISCLOSELY: He stripped my motor to bare metal and painted it to its original colors!!! I did not ask him to do this! He friggin’ PAINTED the motor!!! On SATURDAY! At NOCHARGE! Bloody unbelievable! You think there is no honor and pride and craftsmanship and integrity in craftsman business today? I encourage you to meet Brian and take your business to him. You will thank yourself.
