Scotty’s Catering

Had a wonderful experience with Scotty’s Catering for my husband’s 40^th birthday. Had a party of 40 friends and family at our house and decided to go with Scotty’s after reading reviews on Unilocal and getting some good feedback from another vendor. What great food and service! Scott is as friendly as could be and was true to his word. He is quick to respond to emails and would call back after I leave him a message just to let me know he got the messge! He was punctual in dropping off the food and picking up his supplies later in the evening. And the food was a big hit! Everyone went back for seconds. Overall, what a great experience — I would definitely use his service again!

Scotty and team catered a spectacular wedding reception last night at Rios Lovell
Winery! The abundance of food was very good with the hot food hot and the cold food cold. The mashed potatoes were my favorite! Food is a big part of a wedding and Scotty’s passion for food shined through helping to making the reception a great success!

Scotty’s Catering catered our rehearsal dinner and everything was phenomenal! We had our rehearsal dinner at a softball field so I expected barbeque and eating on paper plates on the bleachers. But that was so NOT the case!
Scotty’s team brought in tables, chairs, tablecloths, chafing dishes, and everything else we needed. It felt like eating at a nice restaurant, even though we were on the sidelines of the softball field! He prepared delicious tri-​tip, chicken parmesan, garlic mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables, salad, and bread. Everything was so scrumptious, but the highlight of the meal was definitely the garlic mashed potatoes! They were heavenly!
I have been receiving compliments for the last month on how awesome our rehearsal dinner was, and that is in large part to Scotty’s Catering. I can’t wait to have another event so we can use him again. :)

Thank you Scotty’s Catering for making my wedding reception dinner a delight! I loved the food and the reasonable pricing. We had the pear salad, garlic mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables, grilled salmon, and veggie pasta. Our guests had a huge amount of food to choose from. We love fish and veggies, but also wanted an option for vegetarian guests (not everyone wants meat). Scotty made sure we had everything we needed and even double checked with us the week before the wedding to make sure we had thought of everything. Great staff and great food! I promise this caterer will make your hungry guests very satisfied.

We had Scott Hansen from Scotty’s Catering come in and do a tasting for us at work today.
Here is what we sampled:
Champagne Pear Salad — nice and light salad, with almonds and cranberries and the dressing was pretty good too.
Zesty Veggie Pasta Salad — olives, feta cheese, cherry tomatoes and a zesty dressing. It was okay — good if you are vegetarian.
Lemon Grilled Chicken — The chicken itself was moist and the flavor was good but it tasted ore like tomato then lemon.
4 Cheese Ravioli in Marinara Sauce — By far the best dish in the tasting. Good ravioli and a nice filling, went well with the marinara sauce.
Scotty’s Smoked Salmon — I was the only one that tried this dish and i really wanted to like it but I am not a big fish person so this was just okay for me.
Scotty seems like a nice guy and sounded like he really enjoys cooking and the catering business.
He said that they have competitive pricing, him and his team can help you plan your event. Food and equipment delivery are included in his pricing. He delivered our tasting with paper plates and plastic forks and paper napkin. However he mentioned that if you wanted you could get table linens, napkins, china plates and cutlery at an additional charge ($ 5 per person for plate setting).
