This is a long overdue review. Becky is seriously amazing. I have been spoiled by her and have not had to experience a bad cut or less than perfect color. Her salon is filled with great stylists, so if for some reason Becky wasn’t available I would feel confident and comfortable going to another stylist in her salon. The salon itself is super cute, clean and well maintained. Thanks to Becky’s magical hands, knowledge, great product and good company I always leave her chair feeling great! Give this salon a try, you won’t be sorry!

Great place to get a haircut. Gena was friendly and professional and the hair cut was exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend it.

Becky pierced my 7 yr old’s ears yesterday — she was fantastic!!! Along with Gena, they made my daughter feel totally comfortable, kept her calm, and provided a great service at an amazing price!!! Thank you!!!

I just met Becky for the first time so you can imagine I was a little nervous but I believed in my Unilocalers. They gave her positive reviews as I will too. The salon is cute and cozy. Makes you feel at home. As for Becky, she’s really good. She took time to listen and I walked out with a great haircut and beautiful color.

Gena is AWESOME! She makes you feel so comfortable and at ease. I was wanting to fix my two-​tone (not in a cute way) blonde and get a more uniform look. She asked lots of questions about what look I was trying to achieve. I ended up getting high and low-​lights and new cut with layers. I let her know I was growing my hair out so I didn’t want a lot cut, just the dead ends. Everything came out perfect! Love my new hair! Thanks Gena, I’ll definitely be back!

Great experience, I walked in without an appointment and Stephanie took care of me right away. I was cutting my hair to donate and was very nervous. She listened to my concerns and helped me choose the hair style that was going to work best for.
We cut off 13″ for Angels Foundation, this will go to help a little girl feel a little better about her struggle and I’m glad I could do it for her :)

I love this location, far superior than the last. It’s, cute and trendy. Very comfortable, almost like being at home and they treat you like that.
Everyone here is awesome, they’re all good hairdressers and reasonably priced, however, I’m partial to Sarah, she does awesome hair. I couldn’t be me without her. Come see her, you will love her as well.

I have been coming to Becky (the owner) for years and have never had less than a 5 star haircut and experience.
At a new location now downtown, this place feels like home. With a coffee machine and sweet treats always available to the customers this place is like a home away from home.
I have never been to any of the other stylists but have seen their fantastic work and never heard of a complaint after a haircut.
This is Livermore’s BEST salon!

I just had my hair cut by Sarah today. I’m totally happy with my hair! Very reasonable prices for a wash, condition, cut & style. I told her what I wanted and my sleek, sassy A-​line looks fabulous! Thanks again Sarah! I’ll be back for sure!

I really had a good time at this salon. Shear Creations is one of those places where you walk in, it feels fun and you feel welcome. They had coffee (a Keurig with all my favorites!) and treats when I was there. This was so fantastic, especially with fall right around the corner. I haven’t met the owners but through conversation it sounds like the stylists genuinely love working for/​with them. I think that’s rare by any company’s standards. It shows in your personnel — Congrats, keep it up!
After a couple visits I decided Stephanie is my go-​to-​stylist now. She works magic with her colors! I think she really has an eye for pinpointing the best selection of highlights, low-​lights, whatever you need, color to suit YOU. I brought in some pictures of some cuts I wanted to try and she worked with me to really understand what I wanted and helped shape it to my characteristics. The look overall at the end was so great! I even decided to drop by to see some friends and family on my way home so I could show off; I was so excited! I think what really contributed to this experience was also the time she took on my first visit to develop an understanding of my style. I feel so comfortable going to her now because I know she cares just as much (if not more) than I do about the end result.

I went here to get my hair cut, but I cannot seem to remember who did it. Since this place had amazing reviews I decided to give it a try. When I got in the car after my cut I almost cried. My hair was chopped off, my layers were uneven, my hair was longer on one side than the other AND my bangs were slaughtered. It looked like a 2 year old got ahold of a scissors and went at my hair. It was horrible. I had to wear headbands for a month straight to hide my bangs, then went back to my regular stylist who fixed everything. Overall, the customer service was fine, but the haircut itself was a disaster. I would not recommend this to anyone looking for a good haircut. Oh and the stylist had me pay $ 50 for ruining my hair.

Tiffany is so wonderful when it comes to cutting hair. I am really adamant about having a stylist that listens and actually cuts my hair with the exact directions I lay out .
Tiffany has no problem following through on my desires and cares about helping me grow my hair. Now that I have moved from the area, I don’t know if I’ll ever find someone I can trust as much as I trust her to cut my hair.
She is also reasonably priced and has a great personality.

Love this place! Wendy has been doing my hair long before Becky and her opened Shear Creations. I love this salon and wouldn’t go to anywhere else. I am always pleased with my color and cut; I wish she could do my hair everyday! She also cuts my 3 year old son’s hair and he loves going to «Wendy’s Shop». She’s the best!

Becky fades me up perfect every time, I started going to her 2 years ago I will not go anywhere else!

I normally get my hair cut and colored by Becky at Shear Creations and she’s amazing! I got married recently and booked her for my wedding hair and make up as well as my mom and my husband’s mom. Wendy, Tiffany and Melissa did all of my bridesmaids’ hair too. They were all amazing! Everyone was gorgeous!
The wedding started at 6pm. I had 6 bridesmaids, me and two moms to get done. We started at 11am and were finished by 3pm. Plenty of time to get across town for pictures before the ceremony at 4pm. We were all relaxed and excited. It was really nice to not feel rushed. No one’s hair fell out and my make up never needed to be touched up. Flawless!
5 stars for Becky because she keeps me looking amazing year– round!
5 stars to the entire salon for making sure we all looked our best at the wedding!

Becky is fantastic. She has been doing my hair since she started and it’s always perfect. I love the salon as well. The staff is super friendly and the salon is always clean and well organized. Also, the prices are very reasonable and they have a wide variety of treatments and services.
