Came here on a Sunday afternoon with a friend. It was our first time at this place. Friendly service — 5 stars for that. Wines were good, nothing really WOWed me. 3 stars mainly because it would’ve been way nicer if they had the tastings outdoors. No nice views inside the tiny wine tasting room. And no AC either, just a fan. We came on a really hot sunny day and we were pretty hot inside the tasting room. AC would’ve made our experience better. If you’re in the area check the place out though since they have pretty affordable tasting prices and check in on Unilocal so you get half off.

We had a great time at Tesla Vintners! Sparkling wines were great but Karen’s kisses served in a chocolate cup were amazing! Marvin was a great host!

Good wines, panty droppers & Karen’s Kiss! Champagne testing and red wines were great, but Marvin made it better!

Best, best, best place to do a large party wine tasting trip! There were 11 of us ladies to celebrate my birthday and we had a fantastic time! You buy a $ 24 coupon and taste at 4 separate wineries in one location. Each winery allowed us a minimum of 5 tastings. The singing winemaker has champagne and the tower winery has COFFEEINFUSEDWINE!!! Definitely will be returning!!!

Great place to go wine tasting with a group! For $ 24 you can do all tastings at the 4 wineries. Very welcoming and fun atmosphere.

4 wineries in the same lot! WOOoooOOOOoooOOOoooooooo… oo. That means I can drink all the wine i want without having to find the next place! Yay! BF and I hit up all 4 wineries. Our fave? Pat Paulsen. why?! because the winemaker let us taste the oh so awesome … ready for it? Coffee wine. YUP. drunk and awake! wooo. sounds like a headache waiting to happen, but good thing, he extracted the flavor of coffee not the actual caffeine. HOWEVER, he totally teased us, and let us taste it, but said NOTFORSALEYET. -.- why did you do that? broke my wine filled heart. Aside from that, we enjoyed the Singing Winemaker’s wine, though his singing was a bit distraction and quite loud, especially for inside a small place like that. We did not like the Lone Dove’s wine, and the service there was not all that great. Edenburgh was decent, we actually bought one of the ports from there. Yums! Overrall, will i be back? yahs! why? $ 24 dollars for 4 wineries?! and you can use the Unilocal check in deal for 50%? HECKYES! =]

Delicious and something for everyone. Stopped here one day by chance while in the area wine tasting and was immediately aware that this was a great choice. $ 24 to taste at all the wineries– ok done! As the guy takes my card I decide to check in on Unilocal and see a 50% off deal if you check into the singing winemaker. Umm $ 24 for 4 winery tastings was good but $ 12 is AMAZING! Now I always bring people here to wine taste. It’s def a nice place to taste a bunch of wines at a good price without having to go anywhere and they often have food grilling outside:)

I really enjoy visiting the Singing Winemaker. We always meet fun people here and love tasting the sparkling wine. My friend bought the almond one and his wife and I bought several holiday items marked down 50 percent. The singer owner was not there, so missed that, but still had a good time. We will be back again.

This is on my top 3 wine stops in Livermore list now. Making a list of wineries to see? This one better be on it. Its actually 4 wineries on one property, there is a deal to taste all 4 winery’s for $ 24. Also, there is a check in deal for a discount on that price. All 4 wineries are different and unique, between the 4 you will 1.) find some wines you like 2.) need a designated driver. My favorite of the 4 was the recently added Lone Dove.

This place is okay. Its cool all three and next to each other. Really small places though. The singing winemaker was the most busy. It was really and crowded, so not the best service. Many of the champagnes were waaaaaay too sweet and soapy tasting.

I just came here for the first time and loved it! It’s so nice and convenient to have four wineries on the same property. They currently have a deal that offers you wine tasting at each of the four wineries for only $ 24. Quite a good deal! My favorite had to be the Lone Dove, but each of the places has its unique charm and amazing wines(with the exception of The Singing Winemaker which didn’t have the most friendly of staff members in my opinion).

Not a wine snob — but I would recommend somewhere else. I really didn’t like any of the wines at all. Yuk!

3 wineries at one stop is always a big hit with me! Singing Winery is really good! Not a huge fan of Pat Paulsen wines but their Napa Cab Sav is pretty good. Kind of sad I got so tipsy so fast! Going to have to come back for another try, I don’t remember the 3rd winery!

This review is for The Singing Winemaker as I didn’t taste in the other 2 wineries on this property: Ehrenberg Cellars and Pat Paulsen Vineyards. There is an outdoor space to picnic but the scene wasn’t very lively as it was a hot Sunday afternoon. Don’t let the lack of people outside turn you away from pulling in as everyone is inside drinking wine! Head over to The Singing Winemaker for the party. See my review on the Singing Winemakers page for more details.

Tesla Vintners was one of 3 or 4 wineries in the same shared lot. doubt Tesla was part of the barrel tasting event. nevertheless they honored some ticket stubs E. Cellars had given me. . tastes(from a bottle): sauvingnon blanc and another white wine. –former fruitty, latter sweet –only vintner offering sips from bottled wine. 3.5 stars for serving real wine. barrel notes: –this lot had a band playing rock & roll(oldies) –food catered by BBQ company. –dirt parking lot. –confusion as to which winery was in the barrel tasting program and who wasn’t. signs: «open for wine tasting» didn’t include barrel tasting. wine tasting is a weekly event for most vineries. –barrel tasting a livermore sponsored event, not all wineries participated.

Calling all winos: when taste testing you can choose 5. One of these tastings may be tasting ALL five champagnes. So really it’s like 9 tastings. Jeez louis. Oh I’m not done! You pay $ 8 and that includes trying the tastings at Edenburgh just next door too! Let the drunkeness commence!

Visited the singing winemaker while here. I got the flight of the sparkling wines and choice of three others. The sparkling wines were all my favorite… especially the raspberry. I then chose three reds(they were out of shiraz and I didn’t try the zin. so, I chose the other three reds). All were really good. The ladies pouring the wine were friendly and personable but the guy who comes out and plays the guitar and sings was pretty cool… and he takes requests! The flight is only $ 5 and Unilocal gets it half off for your first check-in! They have lot’s of other home goods and wine items for sale here. Parking is a gravel lot and there are three wineries part of the Tesla Vintners, two of which I didn’t have time for that day. Once inside it’s a counter with standing room only.

Not impressed. Maybe it’s because it’s a holiday weekend. Maybe it’s because my group I was with seemed a bit off? Two Asian guys and a white girl? Maybe they didn’t like the fact that I wanted to use the Unilocal check on deal for 50% off a tasting. But service was terrible. We walked in and didn’t even get greeted for a few minutes, which was fine but there were only two other people in the tasting room. I understand that they were setting up to have a live band or whatever it was but geeez. It was already 2:30 in the afternoon. To the wine… the most important part obviously. I had a splash of the sparkling, and the almond was pretty good. The reds were not, and I’m a cab girl. i even tried making small talk with the lady pouring, because it was that awkward. We were so put off by the experience that we paid and left without even finishing our tasting. We probably should have just walked out because they really would not have known either way, that’s how bad it was. Never again.

This had to be our favorite spot. It has a small tasting room and tiny shop and portable restrooms but the champagne was amazing. The atmosphere was so much fun, the Singing Winemaker serenaded our bachelorette and everyone in the room was singing. So much fun. I reccommend the Almond Champagne. Goes to show that you really can’t judge a book by it’s cover or a winery by it’s exterior. Oh and you can check in a get a 2 for 1 Tasting. I believe it comes to $ 6

The sixth and final stop on our wine tasting tour of Livermore: We really enjoyed our tasting with The Singing Winemaker! The aptly named singing winemaker graced everyone with his presence for a few minutes during our tasting. He played Green Day’s «Time of Your Life» and brought me back to senior year of high school haha. The tasting cost $ 5 each. You can include the sparkling wine flight(do it!) which contains four varieties including raspberry, peach, and almond flavored in addition to the standard sparkling wine, in your flight. Then, you can select four more wines to taste from their menu which contains about 12 choices. The sparkling wine flight was awesome! We especially liked the almond sparkling wine. After that, we tried all of the red wines(they had 8, so we each chose a different set of 4). Out of all of them, our favorite was the Melody wine which was a blend of Malbec and Tempranillo. Our pourer was friendly and informative. We decided to buy two bottles. However, they did not waive the tasting fee, because of our purchase. I feel like that’s a bit stingy on their part, so that’s why I’m not rating this place as five stars. I would definitely recommend coming here for a tasting though.
