Nice guys… very fast… don’t know how the price compares.$ 70 plus tax for my 2009 BMW Coupe… but worth the easy and quick service.

Friendly and efficient, but expensive. I should have asked the price first. $ 25 that most other places.

Found a coupon in the mail and decided to drive down Saturday morning. It took only about 15 minutes tops. It had to have been the fastest smog test I’ve ever done. I’m going back to these guys with all my cars. Thanks guys!

Had my 2001 Chevy Tahoe smogged yesterday. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Used a coupon that was straight forward (all vehicles) unlike my experience with another smog station in Livermore. Had a nice conversation with owner who has been in business for 30 years. I will be a returning customer!

I went to the place on Portola near 580. The guy was really fast, very efficient and quite business-​like. I was in and out in no time.
The price was also the best I found. Their coupon is straightforward about pricing (unlike another place out on Airway), so what you see is what you get.
I recommend this place!

Price is excessive, but caveat emptor. I requested a «test only» smog check without asking the price… on a Friday afternoon. I assumed I’d pay some sort of «penalty» for not shopping around or getting a coupon.
Is a smog check worth $ 78.50?!? Absolutely not! However, I did order the work, so I paid… the price. I did get a $ 20 discount b/​c I noted that I was referred to their Test Only business by another Livermore shop. Final out the door price $ 58.50.
After questioning the price, I was told that I could probably find a better price in Tracy.
Wrong: I went to the website of ValPak and just printed a coupon for a smog check $ 29.95 & Cert of $ 8.25 for a total out the door price of $ 38.20 for THEIR SHOP that expires on June 29, 2012! That is the price that I expected to pay +/​-​$ 10 without a coupon & without shopping around… on a Friday afternoon.
…I just checked the Your Town circular and found another Test Only listing for $ 29.95 at Discount Smog Check… but that is not really the point now, is it? :)

I’ve had both vehicles smog tested over here. the service is very quick though the second time, it was late afternoon. Lady up front was very professional and friendly. Rates are a little on the higher side but service was very good and very quick.
