So they have a new menu for Lent, and I decided to try the fried haddock sandwich… Big disappointment. A super wimpy portion of lack luster breaded fish, served on a toasted(not grilled/yummy) hot dog bun. The fish piece was so tiny, the bun: fish ratio was completely lopsided, making one wonder if they’re actually just eating fish flavored bread. Have you ever eaten fish flavored bread? Head on over to dublin’s to try some for Lent. Wick wick wack.

Dublins is fantastic. Loved the food and the bartenders are awesome! Very friendly and engaging. My wife and I come here every couple weeks on a Friday for happy hour and always have a great time. Highly recommend.

I give Dublins less than 5 because because they need to up their employees and fix their toilets. I had prime rib last night and it was very good. The au jus was tasty but could have been hotter. Dinner came with salad, and TWO sides! It was a queen cut which was cooked perfectly. The price was super reasonable at 15 dollars too. My sides included mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. Both were great. They were understaffed again, so getting served seemed to take forever, but our server was very nice and personable. And their bathroom was flooded from the broken toilet… still. Understaffing and mechanics aside, I will return to eat here again!

Bartenders were super friendly and we cracked jokes and compared drinks from different states.(Sunday night 05÷17÷15). Drinks are decently priced and it’s clean and open. Highly recommend it!

Ok, to be fair the only reason this is two stars instead of just one is because trivia is awesome! We go here a lot for trivia(even before it was Dublins) and there is always at least small problems with service or food items etc. So if you’re coming here only for food don’t. The bar is fine, no problems there. I will only recommend coming here on Thursday nights for trivia because its great, but just grab a beer and sit at the bar because otherwise you’ll have something to complain about.

Wow very disappointed not much going on here Any more! I don’t know what happened when the new owners took over, maybe it’s the crappy 80, hair ballads that always seem to be playing or the crappy service you get from the bartenders or the blinding light when you walk in I never see live bands playing any more and also seems a bit more pricy. It’s sad cause this was my go to bar to grab a nightcap. Now it’s like a overpriced day time graveyard.

I have to say this review is a culmination of a total of 4 visits by me and my beau. We kept hoping that they were just having«opening growing pains» and sooner or later they would catch their stride. Our first visit just happened to be their official opening night. Since I always love wings, I ordered garlic parm wings for an app, and fish and chips for my dinner. When the wings finally came out they were raw… really raw inside and I sent them back. When my dinner came it made up for the aggravation of the wings though. It was a huge piece of fish, breaded and cooked to perfection! I found it aggravating though that the fish dinner was only available on Fridays? What is it about this area that they think people only eat fish on Fridays? I’m a New Englander and think it should be offered every day in an Irish restaurant. Other visits we are put off right away at how bright it is in the bar area… wayyy too bright! And although I see others have commented about the amount of tvs, or lack of tvs, that matters none if your food and atmosphere are missing. The lay out of everything is a bit bizarre. The hostess station is halfway to the back of the place. As you pass by the pool tables to get there you notice over the pool tables are the traditional cheap billiard lights, but intermingled also are brassy gold chandeliers… OMG! The entire lay out of this place is all wrong, and they obviously thought they could do Interior Design themselves, it’s a HUGE mess all around. Since then we’ve had a few different things on the menu, all are hit or miss, depending on who is cooking in the kitchen. Consistancy is lacking. The best thing offered are the Irish Eggrolls appetizer which are stuffed with corned beef, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing. I wish them luck, but I don’t see this place lasting.

Used to be Meghan McMurphy’s, which was an Irish themed pub as well. Went on a slow Saturday night, sat at the bar, very friendly bartender. Ordered a Mai Tai as a test, knowing/assuming they did not have the orgeat syrup. I appreciate how the bartender went straight to making /looking up the drink without telling me she didn’t know how to make it, as I find it to be embarrassing when bartenders ask their patrons how to make a drink. However, I wish she would have informed me that there was no orgeat syrup, so I could have instructed her on what to substitute. the drink itself was too weak unfortunately, and did not taste like a mai tai, and I was not asked how it was, otherwise I would have asked for a quick fix. We went with the intention on getting their 40 cent wing special for game night, a hell of a deal on paper. I ordered the Irish whiskey hot wings and the garlic parm wings. I was informed that the Irish whiskey wings would cost more, but at 40 cent per wing I was not concerned about an extra dollar. My wife also ordered a bowl of French onion soup Garlic parm wings — delicious, highly recommended Irish whiskey wings — tasted like an average hot wing, no unique whiskey flavor which was a let down for the extra cost, skin was a bit soggy, and they were not as hot(temperature wise) as the garlic wings were, which led me to believe they sat in the window for too long. French onion soup — Very oily, and the croutons were not toasted and therefore fell apart in the bowl, and had to be removed. My wife did not care for it, but is not the type to complain, I would have sent it back if I received it. So at 40 cents per wing, I would say overall, good? I was satisfied, but not impressed, though I will possibly return for this special again. If you intend on ordering wings with sauce on them, I would advise asking them to make sure the skin is extra crispy. Really, those garlic parm wings were their saving grace, and when I do return, I will certainly order them again. A quick mention of the menu — standard pub fare, but not nearly Irish enough! Putting Guinness in a recipe, or corned beef on a pizza, does not make something Irish. Honestly, I saw more Italian inspired dishes than Irish, a mistake that all too many themed places do in the area, trying to cater to the large Italian population, but in the end it really is a detractor. An authentic«Sheppard’s Pie»(one of the few authentic items on the menu), should have minced lamb not ground beef as listed on the menu. A ground beef pie is A «Cottage Pie.» Would love to see more Irish, Scottish, English craft beers in the future as well
