A few weeks back, I contacted Rich at Signature Sound to inquire about trading in my Rega Planar 3 turntable, as I’ve known about his experience and reputation as a reputable Rega dealer, and I’d seen the information about Rega trade-ins on his website. I was interested in a new Rega RP6, and Rich responded right away and we quickly agreed on a deal. Signature Sound is about two hours away from me, but I decided make the trip personally to deliver my Planar 3 to him and pick up my RP6. He ordered me the color I wanted(white), and a little over a week later I drove up to meet Rich and make the trade/purchase. He provided me a tonearm spacer to accommodate my cartridge and also threw in the service of moving my cartridge to my new turntable’s tonearm, which he did expertly using an arsenal of impressive setup tools he has on hand. He took the time not only to do this setup, but also to play me some fine music through an impressive system, using my own new turntable once it was ready. We chatted about the ‘table and music in general and spent an enjoyable few hours. I could not be happier with my turntable purchase, or with the setup and advice and general overall experience I got from dealing with Rich. He’s a class act and I will certainly be contacting him again for future audio needs.
