Diamond Jim’s & Ms Donna’s

We ordered a ribeye and filet, both medium. 45 minutes later, the filet arrived rare and the ribeye well done. I was told the rare filet was medium. When I showed them the well done ribeye for contrast, only then was error admitted. We shared the overdone ribeye, paid full price, all while being treated like a nuisance. Would definitely NOT recommend.

My wife and I always order the King cut steak lightly seasoning to go we have yet to get a bad state they’re enjoyed it each time.

I have only had the opportunity to eat here twice so I can not speak on the menu as a whole, but I never intend to. Diamond Jim’s serves one of the best steaks I have ever eaten, and I have no plans of ever trying anything else on my rare visits there. It is that good.
The prices are cheap compared to other (and lesser) steakhouses, and few can hold a candle to their ribeye. I suggest skipping lunch in preparation for an early dinner at DJ’s and feasting on the King Cut. The flavor and overall grade of the beef in unreal.
As for side dishes, my friends rave about the twice-​baked potato. While it is tasty and well prepared, I can not put my name on it. But then again, I’m not a potato guy.
I am usually not a fan of any caramel desserts, but the caramel cake is worth a try if you have room left afterwards.
Diamond Jim’s & Mrs Donna’s is a must try for beef lovers in the South, I highly recommend it.

Wow! It was so wonderful to eat dinner here! The service was incredible and everyone were to sweet! It is so much like family service! The steaks are AMAZING! And the plates are huge! You get way more food with your money! Two can share one plate easily!

Steaks are usually good to great. Ordering medium-​well is a gamble if you definitely don’t want medium. Staff is always friendly.

The décor was good and the service was good and friendly. The food wasn’t the best but it was pretty good. I got the teriyaki chicken breast and definitely wish I would have gotten steak instead. I’m planning on going back and trying the food again though and definitely getting steak!

We stayed at the wharf in Orange beach Alabama and were referred to this steak house by a local. It did not disappoint. The steaks were large and fantastic with great flavor. I had the rib eye and my wife got the filet you could cut them with a fork. I have eaten at a lot of great steak houses ruth chris, mortons, chops etc. I can truely say these steaks are fantastic and at a fraction of the cost. Also get the west indies salad it’s to die for loads of crab meat with a special dressing. We got to meet Jim and Ms Donna very nice people. If your near Orange beach this is a must stop you will be glad you did. We cannot wait to go back next year although it would be worth the 7 hour drive to taste the steaks again. Highly recommended!!!

Excellant steaks! Casual country atmosphere with friendly service and awesome food!

A good small town steakhouse. Good friendly service, a full bar, typical «steak house» décor. Food was average at best. Not really bad, just nothing to brag about.
