Well when you first come, you have to watch carefully so you dont pass it by. It is a nice little quant building. You can park on the street or in the side in the parking lot as long as you have room. This is a little restaurant and grocery store that smells really Italian and good as you come through the door When come through the door, the first thing you will see is the grocery shelf and think, this cant be a restaurant. But it is, you get a whiff of the Italian smells when you come in and then it makes you think of mom’s kitchen. You can seat yourself or the waitress/counter clerk will seat you. You can tell the place can get a bit noisy when it is full otherwise, it is very low noise in the restaurant. The server will take your order and you may not hear from here again until she brings your drink and food. I ordered an appetizer of hot wings, which were not the traditional hot wings I am use to. The server brought them out and my first impression was these are the wrong wings, they were baked, fall off the bone tender… very mild spice was on them and they were not hot at all. I thought well maybe these are Italian hot wings? Nonetheless, they were good, very tender, and delicious. If I lived by here, i would come in just for a plate of these wings. I got some blue-cheese with them which there was nothing special about the blue-cheese, it was not house made or anything, if so it did not leave an impression on me at all. I have had way better blue-cheese, but the wings made that work out well. My dish of pasta I ordered came out, it was the seafood pasta, it comes with bread and butter. Nothing fancy to this dish, it was the basic meal a young chef could put together right fast. At first I noticed the shrimp was not grilled and I am like they steamed or boiled the shrimp, this is not going to be good, it will have no flavor probably. Well I tasted the seafood sauce and from my guess it was some sort of green tomato sauce with clams or some seafood shredded in it. The sauce had some sort of seafood with clams or a wine sauce reduction and olive oil ion it. Nothing impressive about it! Look liked something from a high school home economics class. To my amazement, the dish had flavors that married very well together, the shrimp gave that pasta a nice salty savory punch and that sweet butter bread was delicious on the pallet after the pasta and that succulent olive oil hit the back of the throat.
Every Tuesday you can get all of spaghetti garlic cheese bread you can eat and all the spaghetti you can eat. The garlic cheese bread is $ 8 and meatballs are $ 0.50 each. They sale a nice selection of beer and wine. Try this place out, ii think it is a go to potential for a good meal.

Discovered this place on our way to St. Louis off the highway! Loved their homemade pizza, pasta and imported deli meats!

This place is located in a small town a little off the highway but as we were traveling through we decided we wanted Italian and this happened to be the closest place. The food is rather good which was a little surprising considering the size of the town and the décor inside the restaurant which I would describe as a simple diner. However, it was very clean! Ashely our waitress was very attentive and helpful. Chicken wings(very meaty) and garlic bread apps were good. The dinners we had: meat ravioli, spaghetti, tortellini, and the deluxe pizza were all also very good! I would definitely recommend eating here…

After hours of paintballing, my friends and I decided to chow down at this very vacant establishment. I was hesitant to go in our paint ridden, mud soaked clothes, but the employees didn’t seem to be put off at all. We ordered the Mediterranean pizza with half anchovies and it was absolutely delicious. A medium easily fed us, but we aren’t big eaters. This place is also a general store of sorts and has a nice variety of delectable sweet treats. Overall, I wasn’t hugely impressed, but given the size of the town, I wouldn’t be opposed to coming here again.

Love this place! I used to go here as a teenager. Our family got their pizza’s all the time. I also really like their Mufaletta’s. The smell of the spices when you walk in is great!

A gem, in the small town. Apparently the only Italian restaurant. They have small grocery store inside. Got amaretti cookies, panettone, greek seasoning with salt, pickled garlic with white wine vinegar, roasted red pepper with corn to bring home, they are all yummy. Ordered seafood pasta, pizza, seafood salad, chicken salad. All were good. must try their chicken wing. Somehow they made it different than american chicken wing. I guess they use turmeric? very tasty. Overall the food are tasty and good quality.
