After 37 years i needed a pair of glasses. Was recommended to Jeff and set up an appointment to meet with his optometrist. Everybody could not have been nicer. Great selection and feels great to support a local, small business.

there is a reason i like to do business with small, local shops. they know their customers, and more importantly, usually help out when those customers screw up.
the night before a 10-​day trip to the middle east, i took off my glasses to (hopefully) get a few hours of sleep. broke the temple piece right off of the lens. forget scotch tape, glue, hockey tape, soldering irons or even LASERS, this wasn’t fixable — frameless glasses don’t have frames per se that you can patch up.
i showed up at jeff’s doorstep at 8:55 (he opens at 9 on weekdays) and by 9:10, he had replaced the temple piece with one from a display pair, and patiently waited until i was back (and recovered work-​wise) to get his patch-​piece back.
his selection is good, his lenses are accurate and high quality, and although his prices may be a bit more than you’d pay elsewhere, when you’re fumbling around like velma and the guys at dunkin’ donuts laugh at you for showing up in sport goggles (THIS HAPPENED), you appreciate the personal care and touch. it’s worth a few bucks more.
