I saw Dr. Kelly a few times when I experienced pain in my knees. I had been going to The Center for Orthopaedics nearby but didn’t feel they exuded the bedside manner I was accustomed to, so I found Dr. Kelly, who was a non-surgical sports medicine doctor which I thought would be a perfect fit. I really liked Dr. Kelly at first. I thought he was thorough and friendly. Then things went downhill. I called because I had an issue with my knee after a shot he gave me. He never called me back; I had to call three more times to speak to someone because I was in a lot of pain as a result of this shot. I couldn’t even speak to a nurse, though I asked. It took four calls before someone called me back, telling me to come back to the office. When I did, he wanted to run some tests that he said come back in about seven days. I gave him two weeks(thinking he’d be busy, delays in getting them, etc.) and by the third week, I finally called to find out if the results came in. The receptionist said they’d been there for two weeks but Dr. Kelly didn’t look at them and he was traveling so he wouldn’t call me back until the following week. I was pissed, so I asked her to try and have him find a way to call me. He did, from his cell phone, that day and said he didn’t have the results in front of him but would call me the very next day to discuss. I asked him to «promise» he’d call. Who has to ask that of a doctor? He said he would and then never called. Two more days went by before he finally called me with my results. Ugh, I should have ended it there. Turns out I needed to see a surgical doctor in the end but still wanted to get a shot in my knee in the meantime which the office said wasn’t a problem. I made an appointment and he canceled for personal reasons. Pissed again, since it was the day before and I’d already locked in someone to watch my daughter, I rescheduled. The day of the appointment, no joke, like two hours prior, his office called to cancel saying he’d be out of the office for personal reasons and to call and reschedule for the following week. I gave up. It was too much to try and see this guy, even after patience and repeated attempts to make it work. Dr. Kelly cancels appointments for no apparent reason at the very last minute and doesn’t follow up on tests, MRI results, and the like. And don’t even get me started on trying to get your results sent to you or getting them to give you a prescription for an MRI — it takes weeks, not to mention, they sent my results to the wrong address. Bottom line, no follow up, follow through or concern for their patients. Don’t waste your time.
