I was shopping here with a friend. We left without buying anything because the prices were outrageous. When we left the store the shoplifting detector’s alarm went off at the door for no apparent reason. As we were leaving a big man followed us out and demanded to see our bags and falsely accused us of stealing. When we explained that we didn’t know what he was talking about he grabbed my friend by the wrist and tried to drag us back into the store. We were able to fight him off and I got a few good hits in and he retreated back into the store. Do not shop here! You will have a bad experience with loss prevention.

I love the new furniture and Mattress department! Salespeople are patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. Love my new bedroom set ! I was unaware you can add your furniture to your wedding registry … So happy my sales person informed me !

Staff was slow to help. I actually stood around for about ten or fifteen minutes before receiving help at a jewlery counter. Nobody even acknowledged me which I found to be extremely frustrating. I winded up leaving because the lady who did end up helping me wasn’t sure about the sales. It was a one day day for diamond earring for $ 199.99 for half carat studs. It’s either you got them or don’t. I left, without the earrings, because I got tired of waiting for them to find out if they still had them. I wasted 20 minutes of my life in this store today LOL

This is just a brief review, because I had such a brief stop. The other day I was looking online for the perfect gift for a special person in my life. I found exactly what I wanted online and it was on sale online only with an additional online promo code. I wanted to apply a gift card and a prepaid card that I’ve had floating around in my wallet, but it wouldn’t allow me because it didn’t total the cost of the item. I planned on paying the rest with cash, but the system wouldn’t allow me and when I chatted with an online rep they said it couldn’t be done. I called customer service at my local store and they were extremely helpful. They even said that if I printed out the promo code, they would honor it in the store. The lady at the counter was very accommodating and patient and did just that. The five minute drive saved me a lot of money and got me exactly what I hoped for. I didn’t even have to worry about shipping. Thanks, Macy’s-you don’t disappoint!

Nice store. They usually have the online sales available in store more than a closer Macy’s. But every time I go to the jewelry department there is only one salesperson for that whole department. Ridiculous.

This Macy’s location is average. I’ve been to better and worse stores. The customer service is just ok, forget about getting any sales help on the floor. The store racks are a little disheveled in the clothing departments, but some other areas are better organized. Do yourself a favor and go to the Short Hills or Wayne locations nearby if you want better quality service and merchandise.

Honestly, not a good Macy’s. It kind of doesn’t even feel like a Macy’s when you are in here. Everything just has like an 80’s or 90’s feel to it. I’m a fan of the Macy’s brand but not this one — maybe it’s just because I’m used to going to some better ones. The men’s department is definitely in need of an uplift and it’s pretty tough to find what you are looking for here. Stopped in to buy my wife a Valentine’s day gift — I was able to get I was looking for but was just not impressed.

This Macy’s location has made a lot of improvements lately. They now have a MAC makeup counter and they’ve renovated a few parts of the store. The handbag section has an okay selection now. It used to look like a bunch of Michael Kors and Dooney bags thrown in the corner. It looks like they are working on getting some more items of the higher end brands. They definitely need to keep working though. The shoe department, even though they’ve gotten a better selection, is still lacking compared to most Macy’s locations. The ladies room is really old and always smells like someone is trying to cover the fact that they’ve been smoking. This is an okay location to shop, but don’t expect to have a lot to choose from.
