Master Pizza

I order pizza from here a lot. Whether I pick up or it’s delivered it is always piping hot and fresh. Not really a dine in spot but they do a booming take out business. I have not tried the subs but I assume they must be as good as the pizza. From plain cheese to multiple toppings they have it all. One of the better options in the area.

Walked in at 615 pm on a Friday night and three cashiers were taking orders over the phone and completely ignored me. After watching them each cycle through three calls I finally asked if anyone had any intention of taking my order. I should have just left but after navigating my way into the parking lot from across three lanes of traffic, I thought I might as well just get in and out. I ordered a sub — it was okay. Light on the lettuce and no seasonings. I would have assumed that salt, pepper, oregano was standard for a sub, but what do I know. Will I return again? Only if desperate and no other options.

A small location with little to no parking. However they are fast, efficient, friendly and the pizzas and salads are delicious!!!

Quick, delicious and most important very affordable ! I am personally very big on good pizza from sauce to cheese selection and this place completely nailed it! Not only did their pizza taste good it was also very hearty and filling. Definitely try the Grandma’s Pie if you are serving a family or even just two people ! Delicious New York style pizza with a crust that will knock your socks off !!

1^st time & was disappointed. I ordered a plain slice while waiting for my chicken cutlet hero. Slice was warm but bottom was burnt. Bread for hero was tasteless & chicken cutlet was dry & greasy

So I was originally going to give this place a 5 star review. I’ll explain later. Not sure what all the other really low ratings are about but this place is called Master PIZZA after all. So yea, I only get pizza from here. The pizza is always cooked perfectly with a nice crust and always delivered within a reasonable time. I haven’t tried any of their other food but I can say this is my favorite pizza in town as it isn’t too greasy and the sauce tastes great. Plus, they store my address and card so calling in an order for delivery is a breeze. Like I said before, I WAS going to give this place 5 stars but this recent delivery blunder lost them a star. I called to order a Sicilian pie with half pepperoni and then called back again, confirming it was a Sicilian half pepperoni and to give them my card. Well pizza came and it was a regular half pepperoni pie. Plus the pepperoni had sadly shifted down to one side during delivery. I called the girl to tell her and her excuse was she didn’t realize what I was saying. I said it twice… In two different calls. Why wouldn’t she ask me to explain? She offered to make me the correct pie and send it over and up charge me the difference… Like really? You messed up and you want me to not only wait for another pie but also pay more because you messed up?! What kind of customer service is that? Plus what a waste of food! The manager got on the phone, apologized, said she doesn’t listen well, and agreed to credit me half the price on my next order. It was a little irritating talking to the girl but at the end of the day I’ll still chalk it up to one bad experience with her and order again.

This is a small little pizza place located on Northfield Avenue. The very convenient for delivery if you live in the area, however if you do need to order pizza I have no idea why you would order from this place as the pizza is quite bad here. the pizza overly greasy and the crusts this terrible. Having lived in the area I’ve ordered from them a few times and can say that the food is consistently subpar. the wings which they deliver is also not very good. customer service is ok and I’m sure they tried to do the best with what they had, but the food is just not tasty and definitely overpriced for what it is. I said just trying one of the other pizza places in the area, like gianFranco’s Pizza, which is actually cheaper and much better tasting. I would love to have given this place a higher rating but unfortunately this is just not good .also the actual physical location of the store is very small and cramped

The pizza has been really awesome the last few months. Always hot and fresh! Quick delivery, good customer service when ordering on phone. Very satisfied customer.

Do not order wings from masters pizza unless you love ketchup. That is all they put on them for the mild sauce. I will never order from there again.

I stopped here on the way back from work the other week and I was very pleasantly surprised with this place. The pizza is pretty good and they definitely put a lot of meat on their toppings. I’ve since had it another time and I was impressed that time as well. This will become a new go-​to pizza place for me!

Ordered from here for 4 years. It’s pizza. Kids love it. Delivered always faster then quoted. Yes they charge a delivery fee. Better than getting in car and picking up. As for the pizza., Nothing fancy. It’s pizza.

It amazes me to see those who only have an ax to grind posting reviews. Master Pizza is always busy, which means their food is fresh. I am always greeted by their staff and they give me my food quickly. What more can one want? I highly recommend their pizza and sandwiches.

Master Pizza has come through in a clutch many times. The pizza is pretty good, but the convenience and their willingness to deliver in any weather and late (please don’t judge me) is superior to other places. The subs are pretty large, and the salads are good portions and tasty-​both the traditional and the pasta salads. They have a large menu and we order from them at work often. You might as well opt for delivery (parking sucks too), because you can’t pay for something on a card and then pick it up yourself or have someone pick it up on your behalf. I guess they got burned in the past. For delivery, they will take your card and keep it on file. Bottom line, it’s A-​OK, some things good, some things great. It works for a reliable, good go-​to spot.

The pizza is a 4 star rating. The food is average. You can tell the fish and salmon are frozen not fresh. The sauces are very good! The service is also great. I would def order pizza and calzones and Stromboli over the dinners. Pasta dishes are great too

This is usually my go to pizza place– but not after today. I ordered at 6:23 pm today and received my food at 8:25pm. Completely unacceptable– especially considering I live 10 minutes away from them in the same town! My soup was soaked through the bag and my mozzarella sticks were squished together soggy and soaked with sauce that wasn’t sealed correctly. I ate about 3 of them– then threw it out. They’ve got a lot of nerve to charge for delivery when they take 2hrs to deliver to a local address. I usually enjoy master pizza but lately the quality has been a bit eh, and after this — i’ll go elsewhere.

What a joke of a blt sandwich. The entire sandwich had maybe a grand total of one piece of bacon. Seriously. Then on top of that, they charged all our orders from the same office so that they could charge multiple delivery fees. Sad when the business does anything to get $$$. I won’t be ordering from here again.

Great sandwiches! Good mix of cheese and sauce. Ordered delivery while staying at St Barnabas. Really hit the spot.

The pizza is just decently edible, we’ve ordered from here a couple of times because we live just a block away and it’s easy to pick up. Other than that we try to avoid this place.

This place deserves zero stars. Food is mediocre. Not terrible but definitely not great. Customer service is atrocious. They got my order completely wrong. It happens but when I asked for a credit to use next time they asked if they could charge me for the item they sent by mistake! Cut up pieces of chicken that I wouldn’t pay $ 2.00 for. Any descent establishment would just take this order as a loss and do what is necessary to make the client happy. These guys want to fight with you and charge you for their mistake? Lost my business for good!

OK pizza.
DON’T order the buffalo chicken pizza, all they do is cut up a chicken cutlet and loosely put it on top of a plain pie. No blue cheese dressing as well.
