This review is based on freshness, quality, and taste of the sandwich I recently devoured. I ordered the turkey with provo on a sour dough roll with deli mustard, mayo and the fixins. Excellent quality of the deli meat, the roll was crisp yet soft. Both were extreamly fresh and the amount of meat was perfect for a hearty appetite. I am a sandwich aholic and you won’t be disappointed at Matts. Clasic build your own sandwich with many choices for meats, cheeses, breads and fixins. Enjoy in or out either way your belly will be pleased.

This place is a true treasure. The sandwiches are fantastic, but where this place really shines is on the butcher shop side of things. All the meats and poultry I’ve purchased here over the years have been top notch in quality and flavor. The sausages are world class — all of them! Well, at least the 8 or so types that I’ve tried, especially the Jalepeno Cheddar.
My only complaint about the place is that they are closed on Sunday and Monday, so you have to plan your meat buying accordingly.

As good of butcher shop as I have ever experienced. Amazing meats, processing, deli, etc. The real highlights are the sandwiches and pizzas. Awesome, homemade stuff served with a smile and at fair prices. Do yourself a favor, skip the chain restaurants and groceries, and hit the place for lunch and then a rib eye for supper!

Had chicken & wild rice soup for lunch around noon & I’ve been in the bathroom since then. It’s 11 p.m. I called to let them know & the manager didn’t care — said she had eaten it & felt fine. But I know it was the soup because a friend ate it & had the exact same thing happen.

A m a z I n g. The butcher shop side has an incredible selection of fresh, processed our frozen meats. They’ll even process your wild game for you. The deli side has an excellent selection of made to order sandwiches with plenty of healthy options. This place is a gem among roadside eateries.
