I did have a good experience bringing my son here. Although we did wait for some time but the nurse was patient and calm, she did a great job to get blood from my 5 year old son by getting the needle in ONETRY. We did calm our son by distracting him. Still, I am happy with the nurse. I do think Livingston and Montclair location are good.

I came here a month ago for a certain test which on their website they had but when I showed up they said they could not perform that test. A few phone calls to my doctor and back to quest diagnostics just made the situation worse and I lost half the day trying to get the test done. I eventually went to another Quest Center that had the test available.

One word: Ouch!!! I made the appointment the previous evening. Originally I tried searching on LabCorp’s site for any appointment in NJ for Saturday morning. The site was not very cooperative or they didn’t have enough locations with open slots… I couldn’t tell, site was not every friendly. I decided to try Quest Diagnostics. After playing around with the Quest site for a few minutes, I got a listing of all available slots in NJ for Saturday morning… BINGO! I made an appointment at this Livingston location. While on their home page I found they have an iPhone app, not only can you use this app to make appointments, but also to keep all your healthcare information in one place: Healthcare providers Insurance Info Reminders Preferred Pharmacy And… Hypochondriacs and hoarders rejoice!!! what impressed me the most… You can request your lab results be sent to the app! I never, ever see or hear back about any lab results, which I am very grateful for, but I think this is a great feature. We do pay for these services yet we are never provided with this information directly. What a great idea! What we will do with this information once we have it, who knows, but we at least we have it gosh darn it! One more thing to hoard and obssess about! Back to the scheduled review… I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment. It was last Saturday morning, I bought some paperwork I needed to review, my iPhone, charger, a magazine… As soon as I signed in and sat down, my name was called and I was immediately setup and taken care of. I didn’t even have a moment to panic, not one to waste an opportunity, I started panicking as we made our way to the guillotine… It was over before my panicking hit its high note, my Lab person(what are they called) was super fast! Here is my break down: Cleanliness and accommodations: 5 stars Speed of service: 5 stars Friendly service: 5 stars Convenience: 100 stars!

My visit was a short one however, one worth noting. My appointment was at 10:15, I showed up about 5 min beforehand with a fully charged battery on my iPhone and extra reading material expecting the typical medical visit wait time. I signed in and greeted the woman at the desk letting her know I was present. The office was pleasantly quite with plenty of seats and a water cooler for your convenience should you arrive unable to operate your task on an empty tank. To my surprise at 10:25 ish my name was called, paperwork signed and off to the ladies room I go! The woman who was on duty was very professional to the point and had me in and out of there by 10:40. I appreciate her running a smooth operation and being considerate of people’s time.
