Short story: id recommend this place if you have a money tree or jus rich in whatever way.
Long story: Ill start by saying im not doing this review for any Reflections’ incentive offers. There’s nothing really wrong with this place i just cant afford to continuously come to a place like this. Based on what the star ratings signify, i rated it 3 Stars.
I went to reflections because it was one of the few places in the area offering Fraxel laser. Ive been advised by every dermatologist that knows about Fraxel that i need to have it done. I had a consultation here, which was free, as it should be. The Dr told me she’d recommend 6 Fraxel laser sessions or more. Then they give u the breakdown of how much it is per session and WOW that’s a lot. Fraxel is an overpriced laser imo. It’s pretty much close to $ 2,000 per session. I needed 6 sessions, you do the math. I told them straight up that im a college student trying to graduate and i simply cant afford that. They worked with me and brought it down a couple hundred :/​. i went home and asked my dad if he would pls pay for it cuz it’s something i wanted more than anything cuz ive grown up with acne scarring, that til this day keeps my self esteem shattered.
My dad said he’d pay for one. so i had the procedure done and fraxel HURTS! i imagine it’s like getting tattoos on ur whole face or maybe worse, idk cuz i dont have any tattoos. The fraxel took about 10 minutes+ and i paid well close to $ 2000 after the «discount». was it worth it? id have to say no. while i did see results with the fraxel, i kno that fraxel, and reflections are thing of Luxury That i shouldve never started if i cant afford it. only the super rich can afford to really take advantage of the services that reflections has to offer. i hope to one day I make enough to have my remaining fraxel sessions done and bring my self esteem back that i havent had since i was a teenager before puberty.
But i would recommend reflections, if u have the money.

My experience at Reflections of Livingston has been absolutely life changing! I initially started going to Dr. Chasin 5 years ago for a skin evaluation for sun/​aging spots and deep lines on my face. After an excellent thorough exam it was recommended that i do Fraxel 3 times over the course of one year! In addition I began getting botox on my forehead and restylyn around my frown lines, as i am slowly approaching 50! I couldnt be more pleased with my «under the radar» change in my youthful look and quality of my skin which glows beautifully as long as i stay out of the sun! It was also recommened that i see a dermatologist for one particular spot for removal!!! The staff is beyond nice and the entire experience has been extremely wonderful!!! I also brought my 16 year old daughter to Dr. Chasin for hair removal and he picked up a medical diagnosis that my pediatrician missed that has changed my daughter’s life! Refledtions is definately a well trusted and experienced medical spa that i would 100% recommend!!!
