i just had a fabulous experience at the tile shop in Livingston New Jersey. The store was full of beautiful displays and a tremendous assortment of products neatly displayed. The best part of the experience was working with jasmine jones the senior design associate. Jasmine is very knowledgable and so pleasant. She recommended the tile that we ended up purchasing. We are thrilled! I will be back there for all tile/floor needs.

Jasmine was eager to help us with our purchase. She has a great attitude, and was very helpful! Their showroom is huge and has a large inventory of tiles to choose from. We are very happy with the tiles and the customer service.

The customer service at this store is excellent. There was a problem with my tile and they remedied it. Now I have the most beautiful tile thanks to the store manager and district manager. And they have a great selection of tile.

As a residential real estate developer, I have been buying tons of tile from the Tile Shop in Livingston. These folks, from the general front staff to the store Manager, Quinn, have provided me with nothing but stellar customer service. When I need tile rushed they do their best to get it to me quickly. When I need to spend a lot of time making tile selections there, they patiently stay with me for hours, writing down names and SKU number as I can keep track of it all. It’s always a good time when I stop in. These folks get an A+.

I love this store. They have fantastic products and returning extra boxes bought was no problem at all. The store is beautifully laid out and salespeople don’t hassle you. We will definitely buy from here again.

I purchased approx 4000 $ worth of slate tile that I chose from a demo bathroom. The delivery showed up with about 1⁄3 broken tiles and as a whole the tiles we’re a crappy quality level .Many had no color at all and some actually said the word no on them with a wax pencil as if they sent me the rejects from prior attempts to get rid of there garbage stock. They ended up finally sending me tiles that looked a bit more like the demo had so I went ahead and had the contractor do a walk In shower that came out nicely. It came time to put a sealer on the stone so I went back and spoke to the same salesperson who walked me to the tile sprayed it with water and said this is the effect this sealer will give the tile. I took his word for it and sealed the tile. The sealer dried and basically aged and blackened the slate muted all the colors and basically killed the Beauty of the stone. They then told me that’s what is supposed to do. I now have an extremely well done bathroom that look dark and dingy do to this places lack of knowledge of what they are selling to people. I will be posting images of what this sealer did to the tile on the better Buisness website to hopefully help someone else avoid dealing with this particular company.

Ugh… So just a week after my initial review of the Tile Shop, I have to amend it. I was told, «Hey, your tile will be ready Friday,» and I thought to myself, ‘that’s perfect. I can pick up my tile on Saturday and attend the DIY class in the morning and kill two birds with one stone.’ Unfortunately, my tile was NOT ready and I was told, «Hey your tile will be ready next Friday.» I attended the class anyway because we are renovating our kitchen right now(which is why we need the tile) and I knew I wouldn’t have much time in the upcoming weekends. The DIY demonstration was actually pretty helpful and my sister and I were the only ones there so we got to try it ourselves and ask a lot of questions. The following Monday, I received a call saying, «Hey, your tile is ready.» So I went in on Tuesday to pick it up. I get to the store and the staff takes 15 minutes trying to figure out where my order is and if it’s even ready. Once they bring it out, they tell me that I’m short a few tiles. I asked why that happened and why they would call me to say my order is ready when it isn’t. The staff apologized and said that the rest of the order would be ready by Thursday, the latest and I would get a call to confirm. Well, it’s Friday now and still no tile. I’m not under a crazy time crunch to hurry up and get these tiles in but I’m still frustrated by how much of my time and petrol they’ve wasted from me having to go back and forth to the store multiple times. Honestly, I’m sure most people are in and out of here quickly with no trouble and I’m sure this situation I’m in is a rarely occurring one. But I have to vent my anger and warn anyone else who could end up in this situation — when someone calls you to say your tile is ready, make sure it’s really ready before you drag your butt out there. The reason I’m still giving this place 2 stars is because the girl that helped me out when I went to pick up my unfinished order was really nice and the DIY class was useful.
