Thomas Mercantile is a wonderful little shop; it’s well worth the effort to trek out here on the dirt road by the RR tracks. They have a fantastic selection of items, everything from quilted bags to jewelry to home décor to clothing, even their own line of specialty food items. On a recent trip, my friends and I purchased earrings, a necklace, cute little pots of lip gloss on a caribiner, a picture frame and a quilted tote. LOVE this place, as I can always find the perfect birthday or other occasion gifts. Looking forward to the Christmas season, too, as I plan to do much of my shopping here. Prices are very fair.
The owner, a delightful lady who is a fourth or fifth generation proprietor, will gladly tell you about the history of her shop and about all her merchandise.
