OK, this place is high class! Yes, I know the prices are a bit steep, but you can wait until the clearance sales, or get an «Eddie Bauer Friends» Card(it’s not a credit card, just a card that you give them whenever you buy stuff and it adds points each time you buy and then you get a coupon for $ 5, $ 10, $ 15, or $ 20 whenever the points add up to enough at the end of their set time period). So there are ways around their high prices. Also, I think if the mall’s rent wasnt’ so high, then the mall’s store prices wouldn’t have to be so high? Maybe? I’m not sure, guess I’d have to research that one! Now when you walk in, I don’t like being«pounced on» several times by several different employees who are actually just bored. They don’t look around or keep track of who’s already talked with who and you get many people coming up to you while you’re trying to enjoy your shopping time; and asking you«if you need help?» or telling you what the sale of the day is! That part, I could really do without, and I almost gave them 4 stars for that, for bothering me so often. BUT without fail, someone always always helps me when I do need help. They are very kind and courteous. Also, once you tell them that you’ve been told a few times, they usually try to stay a bit less close, but they still are like«helicopter» sales employees… they hover! I must say that there are a couple of sales people there that have been especially kind to me and they are: «Diane» and«Dan». They have smiled and been so helpful and kind. When I’ve dropped something, I’ve even had them pick it up for me and I didnt’ have to ask. All in all, the quality of the clothing and the sales people are awesome and I totally 100% recommend«Eddie Bauer» at Laurel Park pl. mall, in Livonia, MI! Oh. oh…and I know I mentioned clearance sales… but they have really good sales practically every week. There’s always a BOGO or some % off of an item. Also, next to the register there’s usually a basket or a rack of the«special item of the day». Last time I went it was ½ off of a pocket back pack. It folded up into something that would fit into a large pocket! It was pretty cool and for $ 14.00, not bad, right? I wouldn’t have paid the original 30.00 or whatever it was exactly… but always a good item or items next to the registers!
