I had this place change my locks when I moved to Livonia. Excellent service and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend them if you need a trusty locksmith.

This store is the definition of old school tradesmen. The owner John is incredibly knowledgeable of the industry, sales quality products and incredibly helpful. I found them about 8 years ago when I was trying to have a key cut for a fire safe that I had. Two other shops couldn’t cut it for me, but they could and it worked great. I’ve had 3 other «odd» keys that they were able to cut for me, one from a 1915 government pad lock and they were able to match and cut it. Sure some of their lock prices are slightly higher than say Wal Mart but I much rather support a local business who actually knows their craft than a chain store. Livonia Lock and Key has been a great source and location to work with.

Great little hometown store with a real locksmith. Everything you need for locks, they have. I used them to make some extra keys and to key new locks to match my old key. From now on I will start buying all my locks including entry locks here. This type of craftsmanship is hard to find nowadays!
