My Hobby Place & Toys

Nice selection but decided to buy anything. Did not feel welcome. Others behind me were greeted with a friendly «hello, how are you?». To quote the movie Pretty Woman, «mistake, big mistake».

My Hobby Place is great independent toy store with a wide selection. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and my daughter loves shopping there.

This is a great independent toy store. Staff was very helpful, and the selection was huge! We really liked the toy selection — huge selection of Legos, board games, Melissa & Doug, and Alex toys. There is a nice play area in the middle. Prices were comparable to other stores and online. We support local businesses, and we will definitely be back to this store.

We love this store. They’ve got a huge selection, their prices match or beat Amazon, and the location is great. The owner is super friendly and willing to go above and beyond to order anything they don’t have in stock.
Our daughter loves the treehouse, train sets and dollhouses in the center of the store, too.

I used to go here when they were located on Levan Rd. Cool little toy store, but the operative word was «little». Honestly, if I needed a better selection I went to the dreaded Toys-​R-​Us. Well, their new location is HUGE! Excellent selection, unique stuff you don’t see everywhere else, and a big area in the middle of the store with toys for kids to play with and even a giant tree slide! (Grown ups are encouraged to try the slide, too.). This is now my go-​to place when I need a birthday present, and I can’t wait to start Christmas shopping! Haven’t brought the kids with me yet, but I definitely will now that I know there’s an area where I don’t have to keep telling them to quit touching everything. It’s very local for me, but it would definitely be worth the drive if you’re not. I don’t know when I’ve been so excited about a toy store…
