My specialist told me ahead of time that the orthopedic Institute of Michigan is a hit-and-miss doctors office for good care and treatment. However to my stupidity I gave them the benefit of the doubt and try to make an appointment. Immediately I was greeted by a receptionist that didn’t even want to take the time to get my information and treated me like I was a waste of time. The conversation then went on to the front desk girl asking me in depth personal medical questions that obviously she would have no idea about because she’s not a doctor. After getting drilled for a few minutes at the front desk and being treated abrasively by her I chose to turn around and walk away. My best advice would be just to stay away from this office and find a new one. Just remember the staff is always a spitting image of the doctors in the office.

The office staff and nurses were great. I waited 40 min for the Dr to come in and then he took about 2 min to look at my xrays and told me to come back in 2 weeks. No recommendations, care plan or anything. Dr spent a total of 3 in talking to me for about $ 600.
