One we placed an order for over 60 dollars we looked at a menu online #14 does not state an onions so my son orders his sub minus tomatoes. We get our meal and his sub has onions even though their menu online doesn’t state this… We call back to complain about it and the owner starts yelling at us aggressively and I hang up… The rudest ass ever. I will never EVER go back to this establishment. Customers do not come first. And I will gladly give another business my money.

Not sure why the bad reviews… we ordered for dinner yesterday and it was so good! My 4 little ones actually split a large Italian sandwich and I got the #1. It was all very good. The pasta was very very good! The bread is not regular sub bread but a cross between sandwich bread and sub bread. I would recommend giving this place a try!

Hit or miss is all I can say. The last time I got carryout it was excellant. Looks like they started putting meat back on the subs. This was a TB special sub. Tony and Nan at some point scimped on the meat and the sandwhich didn’t taste the same. So I’m a fan but don’t scimped on the meat. Welcome back !

Light on the meat but load up everything else n the sandwhich. Felt like I got more bread/lettuce than any meat– when compared to jimmy John, potbelly, leftys cheesesteak, not worth $ can’t comment on taste of sandwich because I could only taste bread, sauce… I’m still trying to figure out 6.50, 3.99, 5.99 equals 18.01… WHAT? unfortunately didn’t read reviews until I sat down to write mine. I normally love to support local no — chain but hells bells chain is winning this one.

I have been coming here for over 20 years. The subs used to have a lot of meat on them years ago. The prices keep going up and the quality keeps going down. Pizza here is fair at best… The pizza is skimpy on items compared to what it was years back. I go here for one reason only and that’s for the famous pasta salad which is out of this world.

I often experience catering from here and we even ordered some dishes from there for our casual rehearsal dinner. The Italian(or house?) sub is yummy. Their bread is like no other — poppy seeds, garlicky, yumminess. Not something for your everyday sandwich fill but every once in awhile it hits the spot. Their pasta salad is pretty darn good with diced cucumbers, black olives, red onions, etc. It’s not made with your traditional oil-based dressing, it’s like ranch dressing esque with something else, love it.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The service has really gone down over the years. Admittedly, I haven’t been here in a few years because of the poor service, but thought I’d give them another chance because their pasta salad is good. I ordered a small pasta salad which, surprisingly, was ready when I got there. Tony was too busy talking to a friend to greet me other than asking what I ordered and if it was in their system. I didn’t know if the order was in their system, but a lady brought out the salad. I paid and was on my merry way back to work. Tony didn’t say ‘thank you, come again, have a nice day etc.’- he just keep talking to his friend. When I got in the car, I realized there were no breadsticks(also very good) with the salad, so I went back inside and asked if they came with the salads anymore. Tony just said ‘no’ and continued with the conversation with his friend. No explanation of when or why, just a ‘no’. I said guess I haven’t been here in a while and won’t be back again. I don’t think he even listened because I got no response. I’m all about supporting local restaurants, but do expect some sort of customer service. Nothing major– a simple ‘hi!’ And ‘please come again’ would be enough. This place has no customer service at all. And for the increase in price for a small pasta salad($ 6.35 total), I do expect a couple of breadsticks to go with it. Overall, good pasta salad, but not good enough to overcome the lack of any customer service.

Don’t waste your time or money going here. We preordered 2 weeks before our event, confirmed the day before, and arrived for pickup to find our order hadn’t been started. Lady told me it would be about 45 minutes till they could get order made. Called Benny’s and had the same order ready in 35 minutes. No apologies or explanation. Poor customer service. Tried it once, they failed, will not be back.

I work at a corporation right around the block from Tony’s. We’ve had their food catered in countless times. The sub’s are pretty decent, they have killer pasta salad, they’re pizza isn’t the best, but over all its tolerable. However, my rating isn’t solely based on their food, but their service as well. As I stated, I work for a place that has ordered $ 1K’s worth of food, I told them this when I called in my order this evening. It’s raining out, I don’t want to leave work. I’m told that they aren’t delivering due to the weather. This is absolutely appalling to me. I’ve delivered pizza in my previous life for years, NEVER did I turn a customer away over some rain. That’s where drivers make their money. I will never order from them again. I called Valentino’s a quarter mile away from them, my food was here 20 minutes later. Goodbye Tony B’s, your loss is another’s gain. **Update** 2 years later. I decided to give delivery a try again. They have great Thai food. Co-workers order take out all the time. Today, we decided to order delivery because several of us missed our lunch. Today they did deliver, however the guy on the phone gave us a hard time about it. We ordered $ 40 worth of food, and were told«Really? That’s all you’re ordering? Today is our busiest day of the year and we’re making this run for you?» The offensive customer service has detoured me from ever considering this place again.

There are so many bad reviews… I had to write something(which I never do.) the TB Super sub is great. I get that and the mozzarella bread(not the Tony bread or whatever… That had to much stuff on it.) I’ve tried other things… But if you want to enjoy yourself stop complaining about the customer service… It is on par with ALL takeout… And get the things they do best(there is a reason why is #1.)

First time trying tonys after moving to the neighborhood, ordered a coney pizza and when i picked it up tony said they ran out of hotdogs so he put bologna instead. He never told me when i ordered the pizza that they were out of hotdogs but then he said its the same thing. Uh no its not. Also had a sandwich which seemed small and over priced. I wont return.

I live close to here. I’ve passed the place hundreds of times, and never stopped in. After a long day, I decided to stop in and see what the fuss was all about. I ordered a tuna sub, 8 inch, with hot peppers. At just a little over $ 6, It was, by far, the best tuna sandwich I’ve ever been served from a sub shop in my entire life. The tuna wasn’t drenched in mayo(and there was an ample amount of tuna), the bread was hot, crispy/soft, and delicious, and the amount of other toppings to sandwich ratio was perfect. To hell with Jimmy Johns and Subway… TB has it nailed. Why only four stars, then? It was 2pm in the afternoon, I was the only person in the restaurant, and I waited almost 10 minutes to get my sub. Maybe they were baking the bread? Slaughtering the tuna? Adding 15 secret herbs and spices, each by hand? I’m not sure. TLDR: One of the best tuna subs ever, even though it took longer than it should have.

I bought a coupon for Tony Balony’s in December, I attempted to use it today 2 – 21. The coupon does not expire. The woman at the counter was so rude. I walked in excited, I told her I had never been there before and that I heard they had some good Thai food, then I pulled out my coupon and she started telling me that they no longer accept those coupons because they don’t make any money on those offers. Then she pointed to a letter hanging on the wall and said«read this» She was very crabby and had an attitude. I decided that I did not want to give my business to this company. Coupon or not, I will never go back.

Been going here for years. Subs and pasta salad all the way! Owners wife is Thai(I think) so they now serve Thai food. I’ll try it sometime, but for now I’ll enjoy what I’ve been ordering for over 10 years. Bread is awesome, which makes the sandos awesome.

I put an order in for two subs for a super bowl party one week before the actual date. When I arrived, there was a line out the door with other orders(including mine) that were not made! I stood in line for an hour and half and ended up getting whatever subs were available next. They never compensated for the time lost nor did they offer any credits in the near future. The worst part is… I told the lady that I put my order in a week ago and she stated«yeah yeah, so did everybody else». Who is running this place? Obviously no one. Yikes!
