Love this place but WTF no more Onion Rings? Best ice tea in town with big olé styrofoam cups. Good food with always a crowd of locals sittin around.

The vibe: I was recently on a cross-​America road trip and drove through this little town and stumbled upon the very classic looking Burger Bar. SO happy I found it. The people who work there are very friendly and the inside looks like the perfect Texan diner.
The food: I had a guacamole jalapeño burger and MAN was it ever good. It was massive, with a big soft bun. It wasn’t a «deluxe» burger, but more of just a classic American hamburger, like the ones replicated by The Burger’s Priest except it was Texan sized. Incredible. I also had the seasoned fries which were curly and delicious.
My go to meal: cheeseburger!

When was the last time you have seen an RC Cola? Well that is one of the four soda options at The Burger Bar. If you don’t request a small cup (who wants that?) drinks are served in humongous Styrofoam cups and have free refills.
The Burger Bar appears to be a popular local hole in the wall, we were lucky to find the one open booth. The wait for our burgers was long but was worth it, not for the quality of the burger but the opportunity to eavesdrop on the entertaining locals joking amongst themselves. The burgers are a decent size and OK, but liked my side of tater tots.
