Edie’s Resort

Calling this a resort is a gross overstatement. It is literally a shack. While clean enough, any of the amenities mentioned were not even available, all padlocked. It says housecleaning resort which is not what i thought, it means YOU clean! Lol my boyfriend literally did not fit in the queen sized bed, even sleeping diagonally. All around bad experience. Had a three night stay and the first day we went to a casino and stayed there the rest of our time. The general décor is homeless. The curtains in the bathroom were towels. Im 5ft and petite and still had to turn sideways to get around the bed to my side. There is a water heater in the closet with no door and a bunch of random dry cleaning hangers. All around huge disappointment. Also, no concern for safety and customer confidentially, literally told me who was staying next door to me and in which cabin. Their full name. And while there were mounts for fire alarms there were none Mounted. I kinda think a tinder box in the middle of the woods during a drought probably should have fire alarms.

It was ok-​ok, would have earned 3 stars had the cabin been dusted and more clean when we arrived. Accommodation options being scarce in the area, it’s not so bad.
