An average HEB from my first visit. However, it is a bit like stepping into the twilight zone as this is what stores were like in the past. Very friendly people who are used to living in the shadow of great BBQ places. I wanted to spend a bit more time in here looking around, but next trip though town.

This is a really nice HEB. The grocers are really nice and helpful. They have good quality healthy food. I like coming here to shop. It feels so homely. Love it when they let you try samples of their different meats and cheeses. I also like how they have a gas promotion, which is going on till September 8th.

— Clean store — Friendly associates — Good selection for a small town — Clean potties if ya gotta go What more does one need from their HEB?! Plus, there are pretty trees in the parking lot… I’m a fan! LOL

Small town HEB– it’s cute and has almost everything that you might find at one in a larger city! I was a little bummed when I first moved here because I’m used to getting certain things at HEB that they just don’t carry at this one. BUT– over a few trips, I’ve come to have a better relationship with this little HEB. A few awesome things are that it’s usually not really busy, they have all of the«essentials», and there’s a redbox right outside! Dinner and a movie? No problem! ;)

I’ve gotten used to the HEBs in Austin as of late, which are all getting remodeled and carry an assortment of organic products and specialty products. One wouldn’t expect a small town like Lockhart to have the same thing, but it does! Of course, it’s much smaller, but this store has nearly everything you need. As I explore it more, I may add items that I find missing, but so far everything has been great!

What a cute little HEB with all the comforts of big one without all the people. Even the manager asked if Ifound every thing. Which never happens at the big ones in Austin other than te pictures on the wall. The store reminded me of that saying«back in the day»
