Agree with all the reviews: Dr. Bayang and Dr. Longi are wonderful. I am so happy to have found them and so close to home. They’re wonderful with our kids. Answer all our questions. I never feel rushed. Our rx are always sent to the pharmacy with no issue.(Last doc they would always get«lost»). I’m giving them 3 stars because of the nurse practitioner Laura Nolan. One day I brought all 3 of our kids in with very bad colds. We saw the nurse practitioner. I didn’t know she wasn’t a doctor. She was short with us & with our kids. She actually scolded my kids for playing, who were all terribly sick. I explained to her repeatedly how sick they were and esp our one child was very lethargic, very out of character. I explained how I could hear the rattle in her chest. Laura sent us on our way with no meds. Less than 48hrs later we were in the ER. 2 had bronchitis, the lethargic one pneumonia. We had to be transported to Lurie Children’s downtown Chicago. Spent 5 nights there getting her better. I know things can change quickly but I can’t help but know in my heart of hearts that if she would’ve been given meds from this nurse Laura, the hospital stay could’ve been avoided. We will never see her again and every time we go I specifically requested we see Dr. Bayang or Longi.

I met Dr. Longhi and I LOVED him. He took lots of time with my son and I, and he was reasonable and kind despite my ‘alternative views’. HOWEVER, last week I saw a nurse practitioner named Laura Nolan, and she was honestly a nightmare. It was nice that the office got me in with no notice, but she was condescending, too forward, and clearly thought very little of me and my parenting choices. For a practice that I was referred to for being okay with alternate vaccination schedules and uncircumcised male care, I have found that her information was out of date, and that she saw me as ‘silly’ and had little respect for my views. She also forcibly retracted my son’s foreskin, which is NOT recommended by the AAP, and she did so without obtaining informed consent from me, or from him. We were both totally blind-sided by the experience, and when I asked her to stop, and if this was really necessary, she laughed it off, and treated me like I knew nothing. I’m horribly upset over this experience with her. I MAY continue to go see Dr. Longhi, and have yet to meet Dr. s Bayang or Sayeed. But I just don’t know. I think I will call the office to talk about this and see what they have to say, but at the moment, I am still too upset. Just be sure that if you see this woman, that she explain EVERYTHING before she does, and WHY it;s necessary, and don’t be afraid to object if you think her information is bad!
