The staff here are always nice and friendly. My food is always delicious! They deliver fast service with a smile.

I have been frequenting this Culvers since it has been opened for over a year or so now. I have been inside to eat once and it was very unclean with dirty tables all around, so now I just go through the drive thru. The experience I’m writing this review about was on Monday March 28^th, when I went through the drive thru and ordered an order of cheese curds, a kids meal of the chicken tenders, two kids meals of the grilled cheese both upgraded to cheese curds, and five kids scoops of ice cream, for which I gave the cashier the five scoop tickets that I had from my kid’s meals that I save up. When I got home, only one of the kid’s grilled cheese had the upgrade to cheese curds, and two free scoop coupons were ripped off of two of the bags even though I had already given the cashier the five coupons when I paid. I called and asked to speak with a manager and it was «Jamie», and I explained the situation and she said that she took the kids meals scoop coupons off because the cashier didn’t tell her that I have them to her, never once apologized for the mistake, just kept immaturely making up excuses, then she said very rudely that I was never charged for the cheese curds for both meals only one, and on my pink receipt it said up charge $ 2.60, and so I said then it costs $ 2.60 to add on cheese curds to one kids meal? To which Jamie said yes, and I said wow cause an order of cheese curds itself is only about 3 dollars, and she said «yes and some change», so I said ok then if she only charged me for one then that’s fine but I still want my two scoop coupons she ripped off the bag, and she said fine come back and get them, because she did acknowledge that I gave the cashier the five coupons for my five scoops. The next day I came and asked for Jamie, and she wasn’t there, so I mentioned what happened and the girl said I remember and talked to the other female manager that was there, who was giving me dirty looks the whole time for some reason because of their own incompetence, and I received my order and said thank you and left. Then I went in today and my daughter wanted to order the cheese curd upgrade to her kids meal and big surprise, it was 1.30. So I was charged 2.60, which is 1.30 plus 1.30, to add on for my two kids meals last week, and their «manager» Jamie, told me that the $ 2.60 was just for one, so I did pay for 2 upgrades! How can someone be a manager there and not even know how much things cost, and then lie to the customer and tell me that $ 2.60 was just for one order and that they didn’t make a mistake? Then when I pulled up to the window today, I asked for Jamie, to ask her why she lied to me and told me that it costs 2.60 for one upgrade. Then she came over and I asked her why she told me that and she started to say that’s how much it is, then I said how come it’s 1.30 today then. Then she started putting her press on nails in my face and talking with her apparently «ghetto» attitude, raising her voice at me with my young children in the car, still not apologizing or admitting she was wrong, changing the subject by saying and didn’t you already come back for the mistake, and I said yes for the 2 scoop coupons that you ripped off of the bag for no reason because I gave the cashier five scoop tickets as I had previously explained. Then the «manager» Jamie walked away yelling and complaining to herself loudly as I waited in the window for my order that I placed, making a scene in front of all of customers that were inside. It was so unprofessional and ridiculous! So basically I was ripped off of 1.30 plus tax, which isn’t a big deal but she shouldn’t be misinforming people telling them it costs 2.60 to add on cheese curds to one kids meal, and insisting she didn’t make a mistake when she obviously did. I ordered, And Paid, for two kids meals both upgraded to cheese curds and only received one. Also she took off the coupons off of two bags when she shouldn’t have because I gave the cashier five coupons for the five scoops. Furthermore, it is pretty pathetic that someone could be a «manager», and not even know the store’s prices, and verbally abuses her customers. When I called that Monday she never apologized once, kept making up excuses, and lied to me and told me I was only charged for one. I am now waiting for their store manager Brian Wallace to call me back, regarding being verbally abused by his employee at this Culvers location, and my money being stolen by Jamie. Yes everyone makes mistakes, that doesn’t mean that Jamie doesn’t have to apologize and has the right to verbally abuse people. So ridiculous!

My husband and I usually eat here about once a month. The people who work here are super friendly. It seems like the staff is fairly consistent, which is always a good sign. The quality of food we have received has been good and lives up to the expectations of Culvers. You do have to wait a little longer for the food, but it is always hot and delicious. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that sometimes the custard tastes over churned and tastes like you are eaten sweetened butter. That has happened to us a couple of times, so that part has been hit or miss.

Jeyjore here! With another exciting review of culvers! I didn’t have diarrhea yet today but I might after this because first of all they gave me a Diet Pepsi when I ordered regular Pepsi and that aspartame flows right through me at 1000 PSI. I should be fine though. The lady at the window seemed to hate her life as she handed me the straw for my drink she was like. Uhg here’s ur straw… She prob having baby daddy drama. I didn’t eat my burger yet but it probably taste like a burger so I’ll return. Defiantly

Service is so slow. Tables wobble. Counter help acts like you’re a bother. Skip this one. Waste of real estate.

I generally like Culvers. pretty good food, fantastic root beer, but this location is awful. You cant believe how excited i was to be getting a Culvers here in Lockport, but what a disappointment. the food is subpar. ive recieved foor that was overcooked, left out too long under the heat lamps, etc. the last time i went, I ordered chicken tenders and got a mix of chicken tenders and fish sticks. granted these look identical, but someone obviously mixed the trays and didnt tell anyone! but the worst part is that they close early every night. the door says open until 10. ive shown up at 845−900ish several times and its locked up. roll through the drive thru and ask why its closed inside and they tell me, «oh no one was here so we closed up inside» and saying well im here and i wast to eat inside wasnt a good enough reason for them to reopen i guess. occasionally ill show up at 930 only to be told that they wont be cooking any food, only drinks and ice cream, because they sent the cooks home since no one was here ordering. i now avoid this location.

First of all I love culverts so I was excited to see it open locally. The food is inconsistent my fried chicken was delicious one time and the next it was dry and overdone. The same thing happened with the burger. It was definitely made ahead of time and dried out. The Service was helpful but young and had some mistakes I’ll wait a while so they can get their act together

I’m a fan of Culver’s, this is a newer location for Culver’s in the City of Lockport. I arrived for a late lunch and was greeted immediately by the wait staff. This location is very clean and bright, I placed my order and sat down to wait for my meal. My meal arrived shortly after ordering, your order is made fresh which I like, so it is a bit of a longer wait.
I tried out the cheeseburger kids meal, which comes with a coupon for a free scoop of custard. My cheeseburger was perfect as well as the fries. I did have a small problem with the soda fountain, but other then that it was a good meal. Oh and the custard was delicious.

Came at dinnertime, inside pretty dead. Several tables dirty & not clean, teenage young employees having a good time behind the counter, fountain drink area wet everywhere, loose napkins all around the ketchup area. You know for the prices you pay for their ‘fresh’ food, you would think someone would take pride in the cleanliness of the restaurant.

My food was garbage. The burger was so dry and could tell it’s been sitting out, fries were over cooked and old. Also had a scoop of custard. Ice chunks. Best thing was my fountain drink! I’d say don’t go there at night, or at all.

I have to say I’ve been to several Culver’s throughout the area of Illinois and Indiana mainly. One thing i’ve come to expect for the most part is their employees really don’t care about customer satisfaction. But the Culvers in particular in the newly built location. I was recently there and they handed me a large Blaster and on the outside of the container it was sticky and smeared with ice cream so I asked the employee to clean it before I had all over my hands with no napkins. As I noticed an employee was using a rag to clean the appliances and counter top and the employee with my drink was in the act of using that rag to wipe off my drink… Very Unsanitary… So everyone watch out that you don’t get poisened from the lack of Leadership and training of these employees…
