I called Homer Tree Service in April 2014 to trim 5 old oaks. I was told they are six weeks behind in scheduling. After several emails and calls finally I was told late fall. Now here we are December 2014 and finally they schedule. I took the day off work to be here and they don’t show up. Really!!! Eight months to wait and no show. I called the office and was told SORRY they can reschedule. Bad just bad so disappointed

It has been a month since I began calling Homer Tree service for assistance after the storm hit Morris with my street sustaining severe damage. I have had 2 no call no shows and multiple no contacts from an arborist. I was then forwarded to the GM Melissa who I had to leave a message for explaining my frustration and still no call back. If you are looking for customer service or professionalism look for another Tree service. The only reason Homer is getting a 2 is that I have had them do work prior and there workers work hard and are professional which I cannot say the same for management.

OK, so after my last review I was finally able to get in contact with the person who originally came out to estimate our job(Brett) and he was honestly appalled at the way this whole thing had gone. From that time on, he set, kept and exceeded our expectations, which were obviously quite low I’ll admit, and the job is now complete! Ultimately I am quite satisfied with the work provided and feel as though Homer is still the best choice when the need arises in the southern suburbs for quality arbor work, but think that it’s a shame that they have such a poor office and secretarial staff. I am scheduled to use them again in the spring ~ hoping things are back on track for good!
