Liz & Abbey did my hair & makeup for my wedding at Public Landing Restaurant in October 2015. They were amazing and helped me feel beautiful!

I received some extra pampering this weekend … Andrea’s reflexology foot massage was great (again) and so relaxing. Out of curiosity, this time around I decided to also try her facial cupping service. Facial cupping (I know, it sounds weird) is supposed to have many benefits, including improved circulation and reduction in the appearance of wrinkles. I do notice the improvement in my complexion, and as an added bonus the sinus pressure I had been feeling lately was noticeably gone the next day. Andrea really seems to «know her stuff» and is also a sweet and upbeat person. Anxiously looking forward to my next visit!

I decided to try Mint based on others reviews and I’m glad i did. I randomly selected Abbey Carlie from the list of stylists and she was AMAZING. She gave me recommendations on styling my hair and even styled it while i was there, not just a blow dry like other salons. Will definitely come again and recommend to others. The only con was the wait time for my appointment, other than that it was great. And the atmosphere is on point.

I just went to this salon for the first time and saw Kendra. WOW amazing! I am very artistic myself, thus picky about my haircuts and color. Kendra nailed it! love my long bob cut and she style it perfectly! I loved the head massage as she was washing my hair too. This is my new salon for sure!

Liz has been cutting my hair for years. My friends laugh when I tell them I drive from Chicago to Lockport to get my hair cut and colored (and have done so for almost 7 years — and also keep in mind that I go probably every 6 weeks or so).
But it’s worth it. :)
The salon is comfortable and relaxing. All of the stylists are talented, knowledgeable and friendly. It’s a really happy, fun place to be. The product line (Eufora) is amazing; my hair has never been more healthy.
If you live in the area (or even 40 miles away) and are looking for an awesome salon, definitely give Mint a try.

I have fine, thinning hair that I had trouble styling. Ever since I came to Liz I have been very happy with my hair. Liz listens to me when I tell her what I want and works miracles for my hair. The products she recommends make a big difference. When I asked her to use her own judgement in styling my hair, she made some changes that I love. A visit to Mint is very relaxing and an enjoyable experience. I recommend Mint to all my family and friends.

I am new to the Lockport area so I googled this salon on a whim– so glad I did! I am so picky about a haircut and Kendra did such a great job. This place is classy and clean inside, and only cost about 30 dollars for what most places charged me at least $ 45 dollars. I left with a hair product she recommended for me and it worked great. I will be returning next time I need another haircut!

Just moved to Lockport from the city and was looking for a new place to get my hair cut and a blow out before a wedding. Mint Salon was great. Kendra was my stylist and was so nice and very knowledgeable about products and best way to style my hair. You could tell all the customers and stylists were very friendly and loved that welcoming vibe. Very affordable as well which was great!!! Will definitely be back!

I booked my hair and makeup at Mint Salon for my wedding day along with my bridesmaids and Mother. There were a total of 10 of us and everyone loved how their hair and makeup turned out, especially me. I’ve had up do’s done in the past by Liz, but I was simply blown away by how amazing my hair looked on the day of my wedding and it lasted all night long! She listened to all my ideas and concerns and the end result was truly perfect. Abbey applied my makeup and again I loved everything about it. My makeup lasted all day and night and overall, I never felt so beautiful. I have the entire crew at Mint Salon to thank! Liz, Abbey and Kendra were so accommodating and made all of us feel right at home. The salon is so cozy and the décor is amazing. We absolutely loved everything and I was beyond happy. It was a wonderful day from start to finish. Thank you all!

First visit today, I’m a former hairstylist so I get extra nervous about new people doing my hair and Kendra was great. She gave me exactly what I asked for. Atmosphere is nice as well

Staff here is amazing!!! Family run place, was recommended to me by a friend of mine. I was not disappointed. Knowledgeable ladies who keep guys looks sharp and on their game! Knowledgable about products for men too, and yes, they do make a difference. Ask for Abbey and be prepared to get ‘Shampoo Drunk’ in the Mint wash house!!! It’s about 10 min of head shampooing/​massaging amazingness!
