Strike N Spare II

Great lanes. Had a good time here. Catch a decent band here and good beer prices, and food from Georges, whats not to like?

This is your average local bowling alley. It is not new and updated and you won’t come here just for the bar. But the bowling isn’t expensive and the beer flows fairly cheaply too. They have bands at the bar which aren’t too bad, sometimes. The one big thing I have to say for this place is that they really keep the lanes up. I have been coming here since I was a kid and don’t remember seeing a warped or gouged lane. And they are always pretty well waxed.
Strike N Spare II is a good bowling alley if you are going to bowl. It’s not too difficult to accidentally have a few buckets of beer. But you probably won’t be coming here just to hang out. There is no trendy bar here. They also do cosmic bowling which is always a hoot. and have a game room with pool tables. There are at least four tables (if I recall correctly) and I believe they are real tables not the smaller «bar» tables.
I’ve been coming here for years now and I’d like to give this place four or more stars but it is time for an update. The décor and atmosphere of the old town bowling alley are only so quaint and charming for so long. What it needs is a serious face lift. A new coat of paint aint going to pretty up this pig.
