I have never been disappointed here. Very friendly, family oriented and great food. Great beer prices too. Important to note: I lived in Tucson for eight years. I know what good Mexican food is.
Even though I like that this is a family restaurant, I wish there was a Cantina.

The indication should have been the empty parking lot, even at 4 pm on a Sunday.
A second indication could have been the disparity in reviews. Hard to decipher, but I should have just kept on driving.
Just not real good Mexican. I feel like I know. Been eating and cooking it for 40 years.
Reasonable salsa.
My enchiladas deluxe, one of each flavor, was very ordinary. Nothing especially special. Average.
Colleagues nachos were pedestrian and after the first layer quite soggy.
Only reason the rating isn’t a 1 is unknown to me right now. Guess I’m feeling kind toward a friendly staff.

Best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. Staff is excellent! Burritos are yummy!!! A weekly stop for my family! On my sons bday they sang to him and actually gave him a sombrero. we are regulars so I don’t think this happens all the time, but we love this place!

This is the second time me and my family have eaten here and I can say we are very happy with the service, the food, and the price. Also got a complimentary dessert. Will be visiting this establishment often.

If you want a good margarita, this is the place to go. The best I’ve ever had. The food is good and reasonably priced. The staff is awesome.

Considering the lack of Mexican food in Locust Grove, it gets two stars instead of one. I’ve been here a few times and there isn’t anything special about the food. I prefer to make something at home or drive 25 minutes to another Mexican restaurant.
Friendly and quick staff, just not the greatest Mexican food.
