Strites Donuts

My family and I are hooked!
You can’t find a better fresh donut around the area. What’s even better is they have some really unique donuts they create. They will even do custom orders for you!!!
Best part is, they are affordable!
If you have not tried them, you’re missing out!

Yum yum yum! Here in the grove it was a Thursday treat to get Strites from the blue traveling trailer… Then we got lucky!!! They put down some roots. Each time I go the owner or his children are so pleasant and patient (my kids have to think on each donut). One is a perfect size for breakfast but I can’t stop there! The fluffy texture and deliciousness of each bite is heaven! Thank you Strites!!!

The donuts here are big, fresh and soooo good! They have other baked goods and coffee too. Place just opened, owner and employees are super nice. You got to check out this place!

Strites– Donuts done RIGHT!
Since moving to the area, one thing I missed most was Strites Donuts out of Harrisonburg /​Shenandoah Valley area. I was thrilled to hear they were opening a storefront here in Orange County!!!
Strites donuts are soft and airy and melt in your mouth, but are also more substantial than Krispy crème or other donuts you can find in the area. Yeah, they’re not as «gourmet» as the new donut store in Fredericksburg, but I like Strites best.
They have original glazed, cinnamon sugar, chocolate filled, Bavarian cream, raspberry filled, blueberry filled, Apple filled and donut holes. They also rotate in some seasonal favorites such as pumpkin spice, caramel turtle, peanut butter cream filled… And this store will have Danishes, cupcakes and cookies (although I haven’t tried any of those yet).
The prices are great– $ 1.25 each, $ 7 for ½ dozen, and $ 13 for a dozen. Not sure why you’d ever come here and only get one donut ;) but if you get the ½ or full dozen, eat within two days or they do dry out a bit.
