You ever eat something and immediately ask yourself«WHYYYY did I eat all of that??» Well, I was driving to Charlotte and figured«When in North Carolina, right?» Plus I really need practice eating while driving. Having driven for over ten years, I’m still terrible at it.(I realize this should be a clue.) Ordered a Cajun chicken biscuit combo with seasoned fries. And for my sweet tooth, the cinnamon pecan roll. It was about 2pm, and fries were quite… Flaccid. I realize flaccid fries are a choice, as many Jack in the Boxes and Whataburgers choose to make you wait for fresh ones instead. While seasoned well, fries were limp… Otherwise I can imagine them being quite dynamite. Chicken biscuit– biscuit itself was buttery and rich, packed with delicious, processed transsaturated goodness. No complaints. Chicken was disappointingly dry and must have been chillin’ under the heat lamp with its friends, the flaccid fries. Cinnamon twist isn’t something you should get. It was dense. I was trying to think of some redeeming quality for it but could not think of one… That and one twist came in some seriously massive styrofoam packaging that could have fit 20 of them things in there. Service was good but oh, the food… Just why.
