Camp crystal Lake

I went in very hesitant, and left feeling refreshed and definitely will be back! Staff was friendly, lots to do for everyone! Thank you for giving my family and I great memories!

We had our family reunion here this August, we’ve been going for over 20 year, and it was great! We rented a Yurt which was fabulous with the beach right outside our door. The fun of this place is it is very homey and it is like staying in a laid back party camp.
We didn’t use the store or bar much but it was always hopping and the resort personnel were very friendly and quick to help.
The resort isn’t fancy, but it has just the right amount of hominess to make it a fun get away for those who don’t need all the bells and whistles to have a good time.

I camped here a few weeks ago (in July) with a group of six families. It was a great camping experience for everyone. There was a nice, clean swimming pool that we spent most of our time at. The lake was good because it had several huge inflatables which made it like a playground in water. If you don’t like seaweed, you probably won’t be able to handle this lake, though.
There are a lot of amenities so you will not be bored. They have go-​carts, miniature golf, kayaking, canoeing, and even a couple of batting cages.

There were also a few fun activities during the weekend such as bingo, tie-​dye, and crafts. They also had a band on Saturday night.
The dump station was a little tricky to find since it is on a lower road near the beach.
The office is also a gift shop/​convenience store and they serve food.
On the down side, one of our buddies was scolded and told to get off of the go carts because «they are not for adults». There are no signs indicating this, nor did they ask any other adult to get off the carts. My friend is a large man… about 6’3″, so I think they were just concerned about his size. Also, the hot tub was closed the entire time we were there.
This campground is a little pricey, but you get a lot for your money.
