I was on the fence between four and five stars, but this is a review for a liquor store so there’s no need to get all picky here. Their selection of wine is a bit lackluster, but it is called Circle LIQUORS after all, so no big deal. The best part? The owner introduced himself to me, asked me for my name, and explained to me that his wife will be there during the day if I ever stop in then. Funny enough, I’d just had a meeting with my staff earlier this evening about customer service and how to really *WOW* our clients(…hence why I was picking up a bottle of wine on a Tuesday…) — Sal is living, breathing proof of how simply doing the kind/human/right thing will bring you business, because I will drive the extra five minutes to return here(I could WALK across the street to a liquor store if I wanted to). I wish I could have taped my interaction with him to show my staff! Anyway, I got off topic… The prices are fair, they’re open until 10, there’s plenty of parking, and the owners are wonderfully nice people — what else can you ask for in a liquor store?

I love going here for all of my liquor needs. The owner Sal and his wife are great and they are extremely kind. They go out of their way to help you out and if they don’t have a certain item that you want, they will go ahead and order it specially for you. Overall, great experience.

This is a nice, unassuming place in a small strip mall on the Hasbrouck Heights/Lodi border. The prices are terrific, and the owner and his wife actually make an effort to not only talk to you but to remember your name. And that makes a difference; I’ve gone to too many places that act like they’re doing you a favor by accepting your money. Great place.
