I’m really surprised at some of the unfavorable reviews. This is a small town grocery store. It’s not big box, but it’s not just a notch above a convenient store by any means. Yes, there are a lot of teenagers working there, but I have never experienced rudeness or poor service. The meat department is very decent — they even regularly carry the Gerber’s Amish chicken, which I appreciate. Employees are generally upbeat and friendly, and the store manager sets a very«cheerful» tone to the atmosphere. I appreciate this store!

Having been at multiple Piggly Wigglys I’d say that this place is a bit run down. The floor tiles are missing in places. It seems dirty when you walk in the store.

The teens working there need training. They are rude and some don’t listen. One young one put runny pork with my other groceries. When my husband asked him to put it in another bag, he have a dirty look and proceeded to put another food item with it. Then I spoke up and explained why it should be placed by itself or with a similar item and he argued with me. I don’t think he knows of proper bacteria precautions or doesn’t care. Please provide professional training opportunities and customer service. I also witnessed a young girl yelling«where are the pregnancy tests?» when a customer was trying to discretely ask for a test with her husband. It was an embarrassing situation!

Small and unimpressive, making me feel sad that this for the people of the town, since this is the main option. Half way between a gas station convenience store and a decent grocery store. Relatively small fresh fruits/vegs selection. Good enough to pickup some basics. Sentry Food Store in Prairie Du Sac is a step up.

There is a new young lady at the registers named Katherine,(I may be spelling it wrong. She did not have a nametag on, but I asked her her name). She employed SO much excellent Customer Service practices — friendly greeting, asked how I was, commented on a new product I was buying, telling that she had used it with her family and they liked it(brat patties), helping pack the groceries with the wonderful Mr. Eddie, and wishing me a good day! I hope she maintains her upbeat attitude. I REALLY will look to go to her register again! Thank you, Katherine!
