The short: It is a tiny cardio focused gym with a classroom attached The long: The newest member of the Sparetime club gyms in Lodi. It is a very small location with 2 large rooms. One room is the class room which makes up half of the location and the other half is the equipment area. Of this area about 95% is filled with the usual cardio equipment and about 5% of weight training. Essentially this place caters to those who want to come walk on a treadmill and gossip while they«work out». One of the more hilarious things is they have personal trainers on staff here who apparently are there to show you how to push the start button on the equipment I guess. The strange thing about this location is the hours so be sure to check when you are going and when it is open. In the middle of the day they close for nothing better that a glorified extended lunch. For me(and apparently everyone else judging from the lack of bodies inside it) this is an almost useless location. I understand the limited equipment due to size constraints but this really limits your clientele here. You’re better off going to one of the better equipped locations if you want a work out. What works: New, clean, and so I hear if you take classes some that are more intensive than turtle speed What to improve: Hours of operation are funky but they claim that is because there are now locker rooms so people cannot come work out and get cleaned up before returning to work. No people can’t come work out on their lunch hour because you are not open for 4 hours in the middle of the day!
