Not very inviting, not comfortable at all. The white ports are good, a bit of Sherry taste on that red port. Not impressed with their other wines. One time, the person pouring had a cold, we were repulsed by her«cooties» and left. We came back a different day when they had someone playing guitar. Again, no place to sit — can’t enjoy a glass of anything so we left. We give up on this place.

I really enjoyed my visit to this tasting room on Saturday 5÷3÷14. My two favorites were their dessert wines(a wht and red– the red was enjoyed with a dark chocolate Hershey’s kiss). We have the Sip California card and I’m eager to try as many tasting rooms as possible this year so we need to get to sippin. I’m happy we went here for our first stop on our day of sippin. Kathy was our guide and she was great– friendly, easy to talk to, new at the job but doing her best to answer all of our questions. Alex was also friendly and able to answer any questions we had that Kathy wasn’t sure about.
I would come back and I highly recommend this place.

We were a bit confused when Jeff at Toasted Toad suggested that we walk down to Jessie’s Grove to try their wine. We had been to Jessie’s Grove at the vineyard and didn’t know that they had opened a tasting room in town. Our pourer Sharon was delightful, taking her time w/us even though we were there near closing time. Purchased a delicious white port which we will savor at the coast next week.

I sure do like this tasting room. The wines are pretty decent, but a little on the pricey side. They have 3 ports(desert wines) and all of them are absolutely delicious. They are not made with brandy like most ports so they are more fruit forward and easier to enjoy. Sharon is great. She will take care of you when you stop in to taste. I attended a private party here last Saturday. It was the perfect location for such a gathering. I’m looking forward to my next visit to ice house
