Lodi’s Wine Social

This was my first visit here, I have a lot of friends who love this place. I however just thought it was average. It was a 106 degree Friday and I thought wine slushies with my husband and BFF would be a great way to end the week.
The venue itself is super cute, love the décor! Its big, clean, open and there are plenty of places to sit. I also love the gathering areas so if you have a large group of friends they definitely have the places for you to have good conversation while enjoying wine.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed chatting everyone up.
So we tried the slushies and the wine lemonade. They were just ok. The flavors were kind of lack luster and everything was very sugary and wasnt super refreshing. I felt heavier leaving than when I came in. I guess I was hoping for something more refreshing and fresh tasting. If I came back I would probably just stick with regular wine.

The wine slushies are an amazing way to beat the heat. They also have some snacks and cheese plates. Great place to sit enjoy some wine slushies and people watch!

I came here for their wine slushies, which were way better than I had expected. I had the two flavors of the day mixed in one drink (as recommended by the waitress), and I couldn’t stop sipping on it. I’m a sucker for alcoholic drinks that don’t taste like alcohol — so the wine slushies were just perfect for that.
My boyfriend ordered the wine flight, which included a tasting of 4 different wines. I highly recommend this for those who don’t yet know too much about wine culture (like us). We also ordered the Sampler Plate, which we absolutely loved because it had a little bit of everything — proscuitto, salami, two different crackers/​bread, tomato/​mozarella/​salami skewer, and 2 different types of cheese. One of the cheese was brie, which I absolutely loved with the crackers provided.
The décor of the place is very nice and lovely for pictures. Great place to bring some girlfriends (and dates) too!

I came here on a Friday night with a couple of my girlfriends, and we all had a great time. The inside is gorgeous and has a lot of space. There is a bar towards the back, but my friends and I sat on the couches in the front. We all ordered the slushies, and we asked for both of the flavors (lime and cosmo) combined. Super fruity and fun, and I could definitely see myself getting buzzed off of these if I had more than one.
Service was great, the staff always made sure to check on us and see how we were doing. The only thing that was a little alarming about this place was that it had very few customers, but I’m just attributing it to the fact that Lodi’s nightlife isn’t the most active. I will be back soon :)

I love this place! Just came here for the first time and had their mulled wine. It was absolutely wonderful. Great service too! Nice patio space and great prices. I will definitely be back for their wine slushies and more mulled wine! I can’t recommend this place enough. Everyone has to try it!

Nice and quiet. Seriously it was pretty slow. It was a rainy day.
Our sampler platter was the best thing from here. The wines did not impress us. I guess I like when someone explains the wines a bit more and excites you before tasting. Knowledge is power.

Cozy comfortable seating, relaxed atmosphere, reasonably priced nibbles, and good wine. Can’t ask for much more now, can we?

What can’t I say about the wine social. It’s the best part of downtown Lodi. Some weekends I just want to go out but don’t want to deal with the overcrowding in some bars and restaurants. The Wine Social is perfect for simple, relaxing night out. They have a great selection of wine and the staff is great at making sure we like what we pay for, letting us sample a few selections before deciding. Their manager, Hollie is one of the reasons I choose The Wine Social over other Wine Bars in Lodi. Her upbeat and charismatic personality makes me feel right at home the moment I walk in. The live music on Saturday’s are perfect after a long week of work. All I can say is, GO TO THE WINE SOCIAL, you won’t be disappointed!

A very nice little spot to enjoy a glass of wine and listen to some local musicians. I happened to be there this past Saturday and relaxed with some good wine and music. Lodi has lots of cool spots to enjoy good food and drink, and even music on occasion. I like checking out new spots like this when I can. It has a relaxing and open atmosphere.

I ordered one of the slushies, a combo between a cosmo and a lime drink. It’s a bit dangerous because it tastes deliciously fruity, but the alcohol hits fast and is pretty strong. Definitely exhibit caution when drinking those, although it’s wonderfully refreshing.
I also had the special for the day, a strawberry lemonade mixed in with Pinot Grigio. Very light and fruity — perfect for the summer day.
The staff are really friendly and attentive. They come by when they notice a refill is needed and are happy to answer questions or help out where they can.
I was overall very impressed with this place. Hopefully I can stop by here again on my next visit to town.

If your looking for a place with bad customer service this is the place for you. Workers act as if you are bothering them. The owner is rude and will not give you the time of day he seems to think he is better than everyone else. They have wine but nothing great.

We went here on Saturday night for an event and it was really fun! They decorated the place up for the party and it was super cute! I liked the comfy seating and the relaxed vibe of the place. We has drink specials that were like cocktails made with wine and they were delicious. We tried the wine slushy and it was very good, sweet and refreshing. We also ordered a bottle of wine and it was a great price! We ate a meat and cheese sampler plate as well as the spicy Italian panini. Both were delicious. The service was excellent! Everyone was really friendly and warm. They offered recommendations to us. I’ve been to other wine bars where I was made to feel looked down upon because I prefer sweeter wines, but not here. This is a beautiful relaxed atmosphere where those who are curious about wine can come get actual help without any pretension. I can’t wait to go back!

I went here for the first time on Saturday, I loved it. My girlfriends and I sat on the patio and just had a blast. The service was amazing and very much like family. I will definitely be going back

One of my most favorite places to go, hands down.
Not only is Sorelle one of my favorite wineries, but they’re the only one that makes the wine slushies! Great atmosphere on a Wednesday afternoon or Saturday night. Stephanie is awesome and service is great!

The very first time I visited Lodi, my friends left it up to me to decide where we’d spend our Saturday night. There are plenty of places to choose from, especially downtown Lodi ! I was so indecisive that night up until I saw a sign that read «wine slushies» I was sold ! I’m an adult but such a kid at heart so, if you’re going to give me the option of drinking wine but having it in the form of a slushy then you can only imagine how happy I was ! There were only two flavors to choose from: lime and rose. Did I mention that Im a very indecisive person? Yup, You bet I got both flavors mixed together ! It was very refreshing and had the perfect amount of sweetness and bitterness. Our server was super understanding and laid back about us being first timers so I really appreciated her patience. My cousin got the sampler and even though I don’t really remember what kind of wines were included in that sampler, I do remember that one stood out the most to me because it was the best tasting one ! It was an almond wine :) since my bf doesn’t drink (gasp! I know!) he opted for a sparkling pellegrino drink. There were two flavors to choose from and from what I remember, that was the only non alcoholic thing they sold. this place is filled with good energy and happy people ! I loved how there was a band performing inside. I think I loved the band even more after they covered the song «chicken fried «yep, cold beer on a Friday night, pair of jeans that fit just right ! «ok, I’ll stop there. Overall, I’d say this place is wonderful and if you haven’t been here, you gotta go !

I’ve only been here once, but was really impressed.
The ambiance was great, music was great, wine and cheese was great.
Also, I had two glasses of wine, and when I ordered the third, the woman brought me the bottle-​said three glasses was the same price as the bottle, so I might as well have the bottle. Who does that? Great way to earn back my business!

I loved this place it is definitely a hidden gem. Service and atmosphere was great. You have to try the wine slushies.

Great tasting bar with two great wineries. Food, entertainment on Saturday night. Easy to find on school street down town Lodi.
