Ogren’s Auctions

First off this should be a zero star review but that’s not available. These guys have terrible customer service. I bought something and made an appointment to drive from Sac to Galt, no one ever showed up, I waited two hours and called several times. Finally heard from them like 6 weeks later. Then they said they would sell some things of mine, they took two of the items, and said they would come get everything else for their 2016 New Years auction. Five months later they still have my stuff, but will not answer my emails, or any of my voicemail messages. Not sure how to get my stuff back. It’s very frustrating, to deal with such unethical business practices. Guess I need to sue to get back? What a fool I was for trusting these folks!

This review is for an online auction that I won. They listed a stack of vinyl records and put a Clash LP on top, but failed to include info on any other title. I won the auction and requested Media Mail shipping. The shipping service they use charged an additional $ 15 on top of the $ 15 postage – meaning I was charged double for shipping. At the end of the day I paid $ 45 for a $ 12 purchase. Then the LPs arrive. The Clash LP had a significant warp and the rest of the LPs were garbage titles that had nothing in common with The Clash. I wrote them a long email about the experience and they ignored me. Basically, I feel scammed.

Always a wide variety of items and prices are often very good unless two people get to fighting over an item! I’ve bot there for years Always happy never had a problem. Fair and very honest people.

Love the auctions at Ogren’s. They make you feel right at home and comfortable. I have been a regular attendee at their auctions for about 2 years now. I look forward to the auctions every week. They tend to have auctions on Thursdays and Sundays. They are very willing to work with you in regards to picking up your items. Just talk to them. I have never had a bad time here. You shouldn’t expect a fancy type of place like you might see on TV, but you should expect to feel right at home. They make the auctions fun.
