Salon W

I was in a wedding in Lodi & needed to get my hair done. I went to a different salon that did a bad job w/​a simple blowout w/​big bouncy curls. When I went to the bride’s house very disappointed, there was Kaitlyn & soon my hair would be saved! I asked Kaitlyn if she could foxy his disaster & she did. She gave me the look I wanted. She was kind & listened. I appreciated so much!
In addition I saw the great hair-​dos she did for the other bridesmaids. Everyone looked fantastic! Definitely someone I would go to again.

Salon W is my go to place for amazing hair cuts and fun color. Whatever crazy idea I have thought up, Miss Wendy is able to do. Anything from jet black hair with purple highlights, long layers with curls, helping me fix a grown out A-​line, and my most recent hair repair of a grown out ombré to beautiful burgundy.
The salon itself is cute and cozy, I love the décor! My stylist Wendy is always accommodating and able to fit me in with both of our work schedules. Prices are great for the services provided.
I once made the terrible mistake of going to a different salon for an ombré color, I came out with a line straight across my hair… No blending… I came to Wendy and she repaired my damaged bleached hair and covered that hot mess of an ombré up with a gorgeous burgundy hand mixed color.
Love love love Salon W, and miss Wendy, the queen of color! I cannot wait to return for my next appointment.

In response to the owners comment below: clearly if you were busy and talking to a client, I wouldn’t have expected you to greet me. I’m not a moron. Yy looked me dead in the face, (your station is right by the door), and ignored me and moved on. It’s bad customer service. I am trying to help you. Really.
Cute little salon, but the owner is so rude! I came to the salon because my stylist started working from there. The minute i walked in, there was just a weird bad energy in the place. I walk in and stand by the door, the owner Wendy saw me and didn’t say a thing. Clearly this was my first time there. She just continued talking to her client. i finally asked for my stylist and she answered very rudely that she was in the back. No, «Please take a seat, make yourself comfortable.» «Welcome.» Nothin’.
I sat there awkwardly getting my hair done. It just felt really weird in that salon. She was just snooty to everyone around her. Her stylists there clearly don’t like her. I mean, I feel badly for her, she is clearly very insecure to e so rude to strangers. However, if you are going to own a business… have better guest care! After reading the reviews, looks like i am not the only one with this experience. Thank God my stylist doesn’t work there anymore!
Slap a smile on that face! I promise its not going to kill you!
Also, read her response to a one star review down below telling a potential customer «your review is not valid because you didn’t receive services in this salon.» OH MY GOD! i know you’re a clearly not an experienced business woman, but you don’t EVER respond to guests like that. Or tell someone their opinion is not valid because they didn’t get their hair done. Just proves my point on where her priority is with her customer service. i give this salon 2 years, at best, unless there is someone with a brain running it that she partners with.

Recently had my hair done by Wendy, had a cut and color, Very happy with the results. Wendy is professional, personable and very efficient. I would recommend salon W to all of my friends and family. Also like the way it is semi private, not a lot of traffic in and out mostly appointments

Tried to do a walk in and the staff member was just plain rude. She ignored us for a good 5 – 10 minutes and then asked if we «needed something». After telling her we came in for a hair cut she proceeded to tell us that she was booked for the day and then went back to curling hair as if we weren’t there.
They have a big sign outside by the door saying «walk ins welcome». So much for that.

I love wendy! I have long hair, get bored with it and like changing up the color often. Wendy jokes that I am going to give her a heart attack with my ideas (Dark, light, medium, light, dark which ever) I also really enjoy her personality, I moved to Lodi a few years ago and found Wendy by chance. She will make you feel comfortable instantly and talk to you like she has known you for years. I have several hairstylist friends who have worked with my hair and I am sad to say most of them have damaged it. Wendy is by far one of the best stylists I’ve had do my hair. The shop is comfortable and adorable as well. She has outstanding prices and you would think moving down here would cost a fortune to do your hair as I lived 3 hours north. I was happy with the price which makes what she does even more fab! ;-) Salon W! Also I would like to point out to the person furious with no phone calls back, this happens with all Salons. Typically I get my stylists direct number like her cell phone and call or text her. My friends and one of my sisters that do hair have told me sometimes they forget to call back due to being so busy and it is easier for them to look at text messages at the end of a shift or break to remember to schedule an appointment. My best friend that does hair wouldn’t call me back if I called her shop. Most stylists have a card with a cell phone number on it. Less confusion!

I went to Wendy on the referral from a friend who always has great hair. Usually I’m a basket case going to a new stylist (due to many botched colors/​haricuts), but as soon as I stepped into the salon, I felt completely confident in her capable hands. She gave me beautiful highlights & haircut. She LISTENED to what I was saying & squeezed me in on short notice, too! I was so happy to leave the salon feeling beautiful again. She was reasonably priced as well, and the salon is very cute!

I have not been to this salon but I have called and spoke to Wendy myself two times for an appointment and both times she has said she would call me back and never did. I even told her I was sent by one of her loyal clients! I found that very rude and unprofessional so giving this salon a big thumbs down and if I could give zero stars I would.

Margo, you are the queen of hair. That is all.
Salon W is a cute, charming salon. I love coming here. I constantly change my hair from dark to light. and Margo gets me there every single time. Her technique for highlighting my hair is unique. I always get the look I want! Thank you for hearing me, even when I dont know how to explain what I am trying to say! The best colorist I have ever worked with, hands down.

I go to Jena to get my hair cut. She’s awesome, knows what she’s doing and is very friendly. I have shorter hair, and she’s had short hair in the past so she knows how to cut it… Even if my hair fights it!
When Jena wasn’t able to cut my hair, she recommended Cassie. I took my sister-​in-​law with me to get her hair styled for my wedding day, and both of our hair came out fantastic. My hair looked perfect all day. My sister’s stayed put until she took it out at night, and was so cute. Another lady helped Cassie with my sister’s hair, I never caught her name but she did a really good job.

Had a great experience with Salon W. They were able to book me no problem and Jena was a terrific stylist. Totally professional with a warm and friendly manner that made me feel welcome. The whole salon was welcoming with no «too cool» vibe. The pricing was amazing! It was less than I thought it was going to be considering the level of service provided. Jena was really knowledgeable about hair stuff in general and was able to easily answer my curious questions about hair extensions and dry shampoo… I felt like I got styled and schooled! Would totally go there again!

Wendy is the best hair stylist! I always leave her salon happy=) Her service is fast & friendly. She’s patient & attentive to your every need. Amazing at colors & cuts. I’ve never had a complaint & recommend her to all of my family, friends & coworkers. You won’t be disappointed!

Salon W is a beautiful salon that is open, clean, beautiful, modern, contempoary and fashion chic! I have been a client of Wendy’s for several years and she never ceases to amaze me with her work! Wendy focuses on each individual client in a professional manner and delivers whatever the client asks for. She is drama free, honest, dependable, laid back, professional, courteous, and remembers small details of ALL her clients. She remembers conversations we had 3 years ago! Wendy’s pricing is AMAZING for the work she does — I will NEVER have another stylist as long as I am in this area. I consider her an amazing stylist and an amazing person. I recommend Wendy to EVERYONE who asks about my hair, and no one will ever be let down by her work!
