swung by here yesterday for lunch while i was in lodi at the dmv(even with an appointment that place sucks) on my sister-in-law’s suggestion. we all got the milaneza torta. there were plenty of good looking tortas on the walls that looked amazing. i like the mix of classic and experimental tortas. next time i’m back in town i will definitely branch out and get something off the wall. the tortas are freakin’ huuuuuuuge. i normally finish a whole tort at the other places i get, not here! no sir, no ma’am, we all ate half and finished the rest later. such a feel good place, if you’re close by stop in for a quick bite. –borland out–

So glad we found this place. Most of the menu is not English but the staff was very friendly and helped us pick. We chose their specialty, the Cubana, and ordered it «however they would recommend»… Of course it came out fantastic. Definitely in the top 5 sandwiches that I’ve ever had, and my husband agrees.

The Cubano is the perfect alcohol soaker-upper. A wonderful hot mess between a soft toasted roll. This thing has multiple meats(breaded beef cutlet, sliced hot dog, ham) plus egg, cheese, avocado, and some spicy stuff. I never got a good look at it(though it’s huge) — as I devoured it with eyes on the road while on Rte 99. Delicious though not the healthiest item on the menu. Nonetheless $ 9 well spent. There is a counter along the wall if you want to dine in… but not exactly a place to go if your trying to impress your date.

I’m only reviewing Cantaloupe fresh Water and Cuban torta. Really really nice both. Note1: I’m from central Mexico and I know what good tortas are. Note2: I tried alambre and they were average.

I needed a place to eat quick and this place popped up in Unilocal.I saw that there were 4 ½ stars so I gave it a shot. This place is really different from a typical restaurant. It’s very tiny, but as long as my food is good, I can’t complain. I enjoyed my meal and my service. It took awhile to get my food, but once I got it, I see why. It was freshly made. If I pass by Lodi, I will be coming here again.

Finally got to check out this place with my boyfriend. He ordered the torta cubana and i ordered a huarache with chorizo. Food was absolutely amazing. The pineapple water was really good. The place is really small but hey can’t complain if it’s good food. This restaurant is a must try.

Have been to it a couple of times. Tortas are ok, have tried a milanesa and a cuban. Both were ok but nothing really to write home about. It’s a true hole in the wall i.e. no bathrooms or tables. Might go back if in area but wouldn’t go out of the way for it. Also wouldn’t bring a picky eater or anyone I’m tryin to impress.

The tortas are to die for! I love the Ham Torta plan and simple but very delicious. The place itself is very small but their customer service is great they are very friendly and always get my order correct! I definitely recommend

OMFG this is the best sandwich I have ever eaten!!! I got the Cubano, which has nothing in common with a regular Cuban sandwich. This is a breaded, fried beef cutlet; ham, avocado, jalapeños, scrambled eggs, cheese, and probably a million other things I forgot. So it’s the opposite of vegan food. SOYUMMY!

People were friendly, taste and portion size good, but entire building could use a deep cleaning. Boyfriend and I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. We split a torta cubana, he had a sangria and I had the horchata. The torta was big enough that for most it would probably fill up 2 people. They give it to you cut in half already,(I gave him the larger half and it ALMOST filled me completely, but I hadn’t eaten for almost a whole day and was REALLY hungry lol.) It tasted really good, we ate there at the bar area, but you can really tell they don’t put much effort into cleaning. I went into the bathroom to wash my hands and wished I had just eaten with my dirty hands before I went in there… very grimy… They also use the restroom as a storage room, as it has extra chairs and things behind the toilet lol… I always wonder that if a restaurant can’t even clean the restroom or dining area, how well do they clean the food area? Or their own hands preparing the food for that matter. Also on this visit the person preparing the food was obviously sick because they had a nasty cough and were coughing a lot while making the food. I understand that this is a small(family owned I’m assuming?) business and they probably don’t have a lot of workers… but it just seemed a little gross when they are making your food. I didn’t like their horchata, but I’ll admit I prefer when it is a very sweet horchata, so if you like it less sweet you might like it. All in all a pretty good sandwich, just wish they were cleaner… I would give them 4 stars but –1 for dirtiness.

Friendly people. Food is made right on the spot. A bit pricy but worth every penny. My favorite is La prima. I love extra panela cheese– and owner always has friendly smile and willing explain… Great customer service

SO good!!! Ordered a Milaneza Torta– hands down, best Torta I’ve ever had. I have heard they are English speakers to take your order, but I ordered in Spanish so I don’t know really know if that will be truly be an issue for non Spanish speakers, but either way, go here. Their food is off the hook regardless!

Best torta I’ve ever had in my life! So much food, so cheap and so many nice people! Love it! Everyone is super helpful and bilingual, which is great. I’ve never had such a great sandwich in my whole life! Wish I could give it more than 5 stars. The neon exterior really let’s you know where you are and how great everything is. I would recommend it to anyone in the area or even from other places because it is well worth the drive.

This place is a real hole in the wall. It’s bright colors draw you in and is meant to stimulate your appetite. The eating area was really small, but there was bar seating, for maybe 10, that wrapped around the back wall while the front of the room was a small kitchen and right next to it the register. The drinks were yummy. I tired the Aguas Frescas(I’m sorry if I butchered that spelling) in watermelon and of course horchata! The food was great! Super filling and hard to move after, but delicious. I tried the Sopas and the famous Cubana torta. Sooo good! Food preparation and portions are authentic, or so I’ve read. Ordering is quite difficult since the menu is in Spanish and there aren’t really pictures to reference much more a description of each item. There was one man that spoke English fluently and he helped me out. Everyone is really nice though and will definitely try to assist, but if in doubt, go Cubana!

Gosh this place was good. Less than 10 minutes from the Parachute center, exactly what we needed. A bajillion different meat combinations but don’t miss out on the cubano… the fried beef, tomatoes, and pickled jalapenos(not that spicy) are a balanced bomb combination. The sandwiches are big enough to split in half for a medium-sized meal. Don’t miss out on the agua fresca… they blend the fruit for you on the spot, and you can ask them to add milk. It’s super yummy. My strawberry and milk agua fresca tasted like a strawberry horchata!

First visit to Super Torta. Had the Cubana($ 8.25). Delicious! Place is small and the menu is completely in Spanish, but the only thing that matters is the food. The Cubana has sliced ham, thick chunks of ham, fried eggs, milanesa(thin sliced meat, battered and fried), avocado, carrots, jalapeños, tomato and 2 types of cheese. As you can see by the pictures the sandwich is quite large, well worth the $ 8.25. Most of the tortas were $ 5 – 7.00. If you like tortas, you will love Super Torta. Try it. You won’t be disappointed.
