Had a craving for a good omelet and headed straight for the Omelet House. The servings are huge so I always order off the senior menu or I can’t finish it. The staff always watches our drinks for refills and the food is served nice and hot. Love this place!

By far the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. Hands down, drop the mic. This place is legit when it comes to breakfast burritos. Haven’t tried anything else, don’t care to because the burritos are that good. And their huge, so they can be shared by 2 ppl.

The wait was worth it! No wonder the place is busy! Great extra attention to the kids and yummy goodness in a super friendly happy place. Old school dinner vibe with huge servings!

I had a craving for great pancakes so I decided to stop by. Beat the crowd, come at 1pm. OMG! Their pancake batter is buttery tasting and delicious! Warm syrup on the side. My country, mushroom omelette was filled with sausage, cheddar, onions and mushrooms. Fluffy and tasty! Their salsa is medium hot. Added a little something to the omelette. They play great, classic oldies softly for background music. The only thing I need is a stronger, brewed coffee. Tastes like it needs more coffee and less water added. I still love this place. Great, friendly service too! Stop by! Right off Hwy 99. Wi-Fi available here.

This place gives huge amounts of food for a low price. The four-egg omelets come with a starch and bread. Pancakes were thick and filling. I ordered the«breath killer» omelet which includes onions, garlic, and jalapeños. Everything was delicious. Now that we know about the quantity, though, my husband and I would split a breakfast next time. Great food, decent service, low price.

Carmen was a great waitress, food was great, and the service by the other waitress(which I did not get her name) was also phenomenal. However, while I was paying I got rude service from Fran. I asked about the 8.99 steak and eggs special and she gave me the rudest response ever. Honey, it was just a question. I was gonna pay regardless. Don’t be hella rude to paying customers and get your advertising straight.

This place is the spot when I am feeling that HUNGER in the morning. The Cattlemen scramble is my go to meal. It is so huge even when I’m slightly stoopid(if you catch my drift) it is tough to finish. I enjoy the 80’s/90’s diner vibe. Especially that old dumpy stone facing on the front. Love that stuff. The only thing that irks me is the service, some of the people who work here are pretty lame.

When I am in town this is one of my favorite breakfast diner to come to. The service is quick, excellent prices, and home cooking style. I love ordering the omelet meals. My favorite is the Ham Hawaiian omelet its the BEST!!!

On a recent trip we spent the night in Lodi, looked on Unilocal for a breakfast spot and discovered that this place was right around the corner. We were really enjoyed it, huge portions, good food, really friendly staff. A little old school, but overall, really good. I’d go back in a minute.

This is an extremely tough rating for me. I went in with high expectations because I have heard a lot of positives about this place. The food was not acceptable IMO, and the place was filthy. But I believe it has potential. I choose to go on fathers day because I wanted to experience this place during heavy traffic. I figure the #1 thing about a great restaurant is consistency. If a place can provide great service during a busy day then it’ll most likely have good service and good food any other time. I was in the mood for an ice cream waffle. I noticed they sold ice cream and waffles, I was a little surprised they couldn’t sell me a waffle with ice cream on top. I settled for the the Strawberry Waffle. and I also ordered«Robs Burger”(BBQ Burger), + the ribeye + potatos + omelette. Figured I’d try a bit of everything. The pricing is great, My kids ordered from the kids menu and I really feel like the amount they received was well worth it. I feel management actually needs to cut down portions or re-price their items because I do not believe the profit margins on all of their food are what they should be. Also the french toast sticks are a different/cool item for a kids menu, but i don’t like the idea of serving a kid with a big ol cup of syrup. its just asking for trouble. I felt like the toast sticks were super greesy Service was decent The place was absolutely filthy though. I Guarantee you they don’t wash the floors on a daily basis. I’d be surprised if they washed the floors more than once a week. I was seated at a table that had soda spilt on the cushions, and the server left the previous persons dirty/used napkins + coffee creamers on the table.(whoops). They managed seating my party, and everyone else pretty quickly though. Staff seems great because they were able to perform quickly while being swamped. the windows were filled with dirt/greese. dead flies were on the floor and on the edge of the table(gross). they had 2 fly catchers/zappers in sight(kinda weird). I would bet the windows have not been cleaned for atleast 2 weeks. As far as sanitation goes It gets a huge negative mark from me. No hair nets, dirty floors, seats, table, and windows. Plus the outside looks terrible because theres not much around it. and one of the few businesses by it happens to be an adult peep show and a gas station. Not the most appealing scenery. on to my food: Waffle… It was good. Not the best, but not bad at all. VERY good actually. Coffee… Decent. heard a lot about it being watered down, it seemed fine to me. Robs Burger… The BBQ sauce was not spread evenly, they did pour some on both sides of the bun though, and the burger itself tasted absolutely fantastic. one of the better burgers in the northern california area. Actually it might be the best i’ve had in the area. the ribeye/potatos/omelette… Biggest disappointment ever. being the«Fathers Day special» I’d imagine it being a showcase type of meal. Generally on holidays or special event days you have a bunch of new customers and you really want to showcase your best food. even lower the price a bit so you can gain future costumers. I felt the quality of the ribeye was terrible. It literally looked to be of the same quality of those 3oz dollar tree ribeyes. I want a big nice fat juicy ribeye. not a super skinny fatty one. I did feel the ribeye/potatos and eggs were VERY undercooked. I honestly think the chef rushed it and because it was super busy. it honestly all tasted terrible and I don’t think i had more than 3 bites of anything on the plate. the price was extremely cheap though so If you don’t mind poor quality go for it. I imagine its cheap because the quality of of the ribeye though. All and all I think the staff is capable. they can handle a fast pace and heavy workload. the food would most likely have been better if the place was not so busy and it was actually cooked longer. I think management needs to really get the place cleaned though. regardless of how busy you are, I think you need to make sure the seats and tables are cleaned before you serve people. It’s better to have a customer wait 5 extra minutes than seat them in a dirty table. Also Ditch the bug zappers. or put them out of sight. Not over the front counter, and over the tables. Cover trash bins, clean your floors/windows, and keep screened doors closed. The reason most places have 2 door entrances is because it keeps flys out of the eating area. keeping the 2nd door open 24⁄7 defeats the purpose. and there is food safe odorless insecticide and fly repelants out there. I literally watched a server scrape food off of a microwave onto the floor. I also watched servers place clean/washed dishes/glasses in what appeared to be a super dirty counter/sink area. And it appears nobody that touches/preps the food wears gloves. Management needs to initiate cleaning routines, make employees wear hair nets, and most likely adjust portion size or raise prices. the pla

One of our go-to breakfast places in Lodi. The place isn’t a looker but definitely a good ol fashioned diner feel. The service is always great. They’ll get you coffee topped off before you have time to drink it down. I’ve tried the omelettes, French toast and chicken fried steak. The portions are large and they give you an option of pancakes(2 big ones) for the choice of bread. I recommend the pancakes. Come here hungry and leave happy.

Quick service. Quick coffee. Old school environment. Reminded me of an old Denny’s restaurant. Huge portions. The omelets have 4 eggs. Then they add the accompaniments, hash browns or potatoes and pancakes(8 – 10 inches in diameter) or waffle. All for about 12 bucks. Food was tasty enough. When other places had waiting lines out the door, this humble place had good food ready to serve. Can’t beat that.

Went here with a group of four on a Friday mid-morning. We were seated right away. The waitress was very friendly and funny. I love people with a good sense of humor. I ordered the Reuben Omelet with pancakes. Wow! This food was very good. I took home the leftovers and had them the next day. Still good!

I was torn between giving this restaurant 5 stars or 3 stars, so I’ll give it 4. The service was absolutely horrible. Walked in and put our name on the list. She told us about 15 min. A couple min later two tables were cleaned and empty. There was a group of 2 ahead of us on the list and then our group of 4(3 adults, 1 child). Those tables sat empty for at least 15 minutes. I’m sorry… EMPTYANDCLEAN for at least 15 min. They finally seated the group of 2. We then waited between 5 and 10 min longer before we were seated. At this point the table had been sitting empty and clean for about 25 min. Are you serious?! It took us about 5 min to figure out what we wanted. We then put our menus down and proceeded to talk and entertain ourselves for about 10 min before they came and asked for our order(including drinks). It didn’t take a ridiculous amount of time to get our meals. thankfully. So why did I give it 4 stars? The food was INCREDIBLE!!! I had the country mushroom omelet. It was outstanding. It came with a side of pancakes. They were mouthwatering. Delicious. Omg AMAZING. The hash browns were perfect. Crisp and fresh tasting. No old oil flavor. My son ordered a smiley face pancake and loved it. The others ordered the Joe’s Special and the Texas omelet and split and shared both. They loved their food. Loved is probably an understatement. The cook deserves a huge raise! If this place would hire someone new at the register or hire someone specifically there to seat people it would be a 5 star experience.

Extremely well priced with huge portions of food. Four of us shared to breakfast and had leftovers. was tasty and well-prepared but our waitress forgot about us when it came time to pick up the tab. So we waited an additional 20 minutes. Also, what’s up with the women’s bathroom? Two toilets with no stall in between?

Was excited to try this homey, cozy, local gem for breakfast. But, I’m sad to only give this place 3 stars! In all fairness, it’s probably because I ordered the wrong thing. I ordered a gyro omelette with country potatoes. The gyro omelette came with pieces of Khrono’s gyro meat, tomatoes, cheese, tzakiki sauce all wrapped up in egg to make a huge omelette that covered half the plate. I thought it was a horrible combination. I do not recommend this! The meat was definitely dry and I can tell you tzakiki sauce does not pair with eggs. I’m one willing to try different combos and try something once but never again with this omelette! I must say that the country potatoes were wonderful. Out of all the restaurants I’ve had country potatoes, I think this one is at the top of my list. They were salted and cooked perfectly. They were the right combination of soft and crunchy. Service was really good at this place too while we received our food. I ended up spending about 4 hours here chatting and catching up with a good friend. We did end up being the forgotten two after we received the bill and boxes for our food though. But then again, 4 hours is a long time! :P I do want to come back and try something more traditional. The place was packed when I came so that’s a good sign. I like going to places locals usually frequent so they deserve another go around.

This restaurant is excellent. A retro-restaurant with a retro-menu. Takes me back to the days of Howard Johnson, Big Boy, Sambos… great food, good(acutally big) portions, and prepared right. The staff is very friendly and they take care of you. Coffee cup is always full. The condiments are there on the table so, you dont have to beg for ketchup or jelly. We willl be back. again and again.

So, take it from someone that dines here frequently. This place admittedly isn’t decorated in today’s trendy hip décor, but think of it as a diner that you can get great quality tasting food. The portions are huge. I have a hearty appetite, and I always take half of it home. This is a family owned business, and I’ve gotten to know the owners since their opening. They take pride in the food and service they provide. I conduct several business appointments around breakfast and every time I’ve catered using their food, my clients all ask where the food is from because they love it! I’ve tried so many things on the menu… my favorites are the cinnamon toast French toast, cheese blintzes with Blueberry, Chicken Fried Steak. My customers always love the breakfast quesadilla and huge pancakes when I bring them. I am sad to say that I was there I observed one of the patrons who stated the meal wasn’t up to par. It was comical because it was after over half of the meal was consumed. If you legitimately are unhappy, or dissatisfied, doesn’t it happen after first seeing it and or taking the first bite? Not after you’ve gotten your fill, and want to take a new meal to go? I got regularly scrambled eggs once when I ordered egg whites. I notified the server, and voila fixed just like that. Love their food! Never disappointed.

Summary: What a value! Huge portions of great tasting, great quality, fresh food for super cheap. You can’t go wrong. Super friendly service too. Will definitely be coming back whenever wine tasting in Lodi. I went here for the first time with my wife, her parents, and a couple of family friends around lunch time on the Friday after Christmas. We found it via the Unilocal reviews(thank you again Unilocal community). Upon arrival, we were greeted by the hostess and then quickly seated in the back room. We were given our menus and some time to peruse. The menu is quite large with tons of omelet options, but also some lunch choices as well. A minute later our server arrived and took our drink orders, then gave us another couple of minutes for final food decisions. I ordered the Super Veggie Omelet with bacon added and the half French toast. Most of the rest of us got omelets as well, but my wife got a turkey and bacon melt, and one of us got the chicken cheesesteak. When the food arrived, it came in huge portions, but looking beautiful. It also tasted fantastic. Throughout the meal we were well attended to, add everyone seemed to enjoy what they had ordered. The total for the six of us was $ 66, which is more than reasonable given the amount of food and the quality of it. A great meal to stay the day with.
